Very basic BOOK COVER GUIDE

@1AnonymousGirl @Booksaregreat To answer that; if there is nothing saying it's NOT copyrighted, it is most likely just that. Copyrighted. You should look on web sites designed for sharing un-copyrighted work, or ask the owner of the picture.

@xxstarpopflowerxx Go to "my work" and select "book cover" or something like that, and then upload the photo from your computer.

@Nixie-Dig I have no idea. Maybe if you have a special program for photo editing? I know that for iPhones there is a mass of different programs like that in the app store. You should check out the Marked for androids.

@purpleismymiddlename You need the URL. Right click, or pat two fingers if you use a mac like me, and get the URL (which is the http://etc.etc.etc link you get when your picture is floating on the web)

Note: in the tutorial, I might have an old version of Picasa, so if it looks different, it might be because of that. But don't worry, I'm sure that with the power of WILL you will find out by yourself:)

@gymnast17 U copy and paste the HTML code ( on photobucket), in this box! It should be on the side of the screen when you click on the picture on Photobucket

Ok, so the question is,, I'm writing a fan fiction. Which means I can't really take a picture,, if u see what I mean.

So what is the easiest way to to get an uncopyrighted picture( is that even a word..)

Its great! Thanku Ms Lifesaver!!! I use picasa then add stickers using picnik (there is a link to it it says edit using picasa and it takes ur pic straight there)

Hi, I'm new and I can't really find this anywhere but you mentioned copyright issues for pictures, but what about where it is licensed under creative commons? Where should we put the credits/attributes that are required for a quite a lot of work to be remixed?

hmm...so if you use a site like weheartit.com are the photos there copyrighted? :S

@ThePandaWriter , if you look at the top of the gorgeous pictures weheartit always has, it says "found on (insertlinkrighthere)" and you need to go to the origin to check the copy rights.

Wow, i just happen to find this when looking for help with my cover, wasn't sure what program to use and couldn't really find anything useful to make it happen and all(closest was word XD) so thank you so much! :D And about the language, my directly stood in Swedish so I think maybe it is from which language your computer has maybe, not sure since I'm not so much with technical stuff and so... And thanks for the tip with pictures too! hadn't thought of it at all so from now on I'll somehow do my own coverpictures and import it to Picasa. Thank you so much! :D

wow this is so awesome! i couldn't find any good programs to make book covers with but this one is rlly awesome:) but how can i crop it so that it fits the wattpad size???
