@theisabelday -Yeah the few people I talk to that I don't already know outside of Wattpad are around that age. I think of them like little sisters. That said, it makes me feel old. lol. @ESYLuc -That's college age here as well. I'm from the US of A. How about you? |

I don't like to reveal my location. Through my childhood, I moved schools frequently. Not because I was a delinquent but because my parents sought for the best education for me. Although, I can give you a hint: - Our summer occurs from December to February |

@theisabelday -Peanutty is the oldest person I talk to on Wattpad and she's only 2 years old than me. Everyone else is a tween, which is why I started this discussion! That way people who aren't that young don't feel so old. We're too young to feel ancient! lol @ESYLuc -That's cool. I actually didn't want to know your exact location. lol I was just curious if you were from America too, BUT obviously by your seasons you can't be. |

@Rikolah I know two kids that are 19, and I've met one lady/girl who is 28 or 29. Besides that, I've never met anyone older than me; so thanks for making this! lol |

I remember when my mom turned 30 and I thought she was so old, now that I am in my 30s I am like "What the hell!! I'm not old at all" I do feel old sometimes when I think back to how things were when I was a kid and how they have changed. Jeepers...I was in high school before the internet was around and now people can't live without that connection. I used to be in awe of the changes that my grandpa & dad had seen growing up, wondering how it must have been and now...I have the same awe and amazement in the changes that I have witnessed. One example..The summer I got my drivers license...gas was...get this...you all are going to shit your pants at this one.....ready.....wait for it...wait for it.... $0.94 a gallon!!! BAM!!! What do you think of that schiznit!! @peanutty11 |

@MAC_Reid In my lifetime, I have seen the internet revolution(Because I was one of the last kids who grew up (pre 16) without their own personal cell phone and laptop) and now, touch screens. And I remember my dad complaining when gas went from 98 cents to a dollar. (per gallon) |

@peanutty11 LOL, I remember beepers!!!! I thought I was the shit in elementary because I had an alpha-numeric one. My first cell was also a Nokia and I kept it forever just because it that game snake on it. I remember having prodigy as my ISP and my first computer had a 5 1/4" drive on it and my printer was a dot matrix printer and the whole ream of paper was attached. When I was elementary it was cool to have tapes and a Walkman by the time I got to Junior high it was CDs and a Discman and shortly after I entered high school maybe around my sophomore year along came the original IPod |

@peanutty11 @theisabelday Have the kids on here even started potty training yet? Ha Ha. I was 19 when I got my first cellphone and it had NO games. It was a Nokia 6120 I believe or one similar to that. I got the cellphone in 1999 after my son was born. When I was younger we had to rent a VCR so we could rent movies on VHS to watch them. Oh yeah pagers...never had one of those though. Any of you know what a bag phone is?? How about a rotary telephone?? |

OH MY GOD!!! You too are so young yet!!! The only game system I ever owned (up until I bought an X-Box) was an Atari. The controller consisted of a joystick and a red button. My cellphone had no games what so ever and when I grew up the phone we had in the house was a rotary until I was in 7th or 8th grade (somewhere between 1992-1994). When I was in high school, a sophomore (1995-1996) the school created a computer lab with several computers hooked up to the internet. We had to partner up to use them and we were taught how to use the internet. Chat rooms were the thing, there was no social networks or anything like that at all.;\ |
