Military Stories.

Does anyone else write military stories? I feel like I'm the only one on here that writing them. It would be great to meet some people that writes military stories also so we can share ideas and stuff about our stories.

I actualy am wrting one. It's about the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers if you heard of it. I really recomend for u to watch it... it's AMAZING!!

@hodhod2011danger ii heard of that show. sounds interesting. ii should check your book out when ii have the time. you should check mine out too if you want. ii have two that im working on. daughter of a patriot story and letters to my solider.

I'm bout to write one as soon as i finish my current story. that should be by the end of this week. but my stories aren't for the weak...

My story has some military elements in it (It's a Dystopia mixed with horror and sci fi), although it focuses more on my protagonist and his son as they try to survive ruthless survivors, mercenaries, and the infected...

I'm only at the beginning though, so you won't find much action yet.

I also have a good short story about a Russian Sniper. I'm thinking I'll rework it into a series sometime.

Sup, I avidly play FPS games like COD or MOH. Try to derive the excitement and action from games like that. But try to also add a depth of emotion and humanity. If you watch some war movies, try to understand or ask your character: "Why are you fighting in this war?" or "What good will I be doing myself and my country?" Plus, try to add a little realism. Like death, emotions, and separation. Since the situation is serious, why not take an extra step on violence or language? And don't forget: do a lot of research. Make sure the elements of your story may correspond to actual military tactics, technology and...FACTS! So do some research on your country's armed forces (I'm from the Phils, BTW). Hope you like my advice. :)
