Pagans? Wiccans?

I see so many post for Christianity, and so few for any other religion except the occasional Muslim. So how many Pagans/Wiccans/ other Magickal people do we have here on Wattpad? I don't want any flaming or anything, okay guys?

I am Pagan and I am proud of it. I may be new to this site, but I completely agree. I mostly have been seeing things for Christianity and such, but almost nothing about Paganism or such .^_^. Its great to meet people who have 'Balls' like Lauren said.

I'm actually not Pagan. Yet. I've been studying it and such, but I have not been able to begin yet. Sometimes it sorta sucks to not have other Wiccans or Pagans to talk to, cuz a lot of my friends think it seems weird... But, anyways, even if I am not yet Pagan, I guess you could call me an apprentice. Does that count?

Well, Like I said, I suppose I'm an apprentice. My friend, is going to introduce me to the Wiccan community and the other points of interest. I definately am going to follow the path, I just wish I had more guidance. So, if your willing to speak about it, who are your deities? I have been doing a lot of research. Studying common portrayals of gods and goddesses, and the elements. @NobleWolf

Well, I haven't chosen a particular 'set' of gods, but if I did, I would probably choose either the greek or celtic deities. The reason being that I am currently exploring other faiths, and I just find it slightly disrespectful to dedicate yourself to a religion and then choose another. If you don't mind me asking, why are you interested? (in the faith) @3ternally

Well, I'm interested in Wicca for numerous different reasons. I suppose it's the fact i feel a connection to their beliefs. I've never felt a connection to Christianity or any of the other religions I have studied. I'm a google addict, i've been trying to find a religion i could connect to spiritually for what seems like forever, Wicca gave me that opportunity. I have always been interested and held a certain resect for the elements, i just never realized it was something that could be considered a faith of the sorts and now that i have found it, i want to be able to be part of it. I want to be part of that community. I feel far to connected to the Old Religion to just let it slip through my fingers. Know what i mean? It's like finding the light at the end of a tunnel, even if you already knew you would emerge victorious. As you can see, i'm pretty passionate about the subject. I wish i could reach out better to all of the others feeling the same way about it. I don't live in a large Wiccan community... I'm glad you asked about it though! I has the same reaction to Wicca, and it shocked me that it could be considered an 'evil' religion. I am also a theology addict, and I am ALWAYS researching religion. I have never met a Wiccan in real life (or possibly just haven't known it when I have) either. XD @3ternally

Yeah, I was way confused when I found out it was considered evil, too. I find it unfair how people tend to judge any religion without knowing about it. I once found a website claiming Wiccan people drink Christian blood... It's amazing how crazy judgmental everybody is about the religion even when, quite frankly, Wicca is a very peace-bringing spiritual practice and it takes a lot of dedication and strength to carry out... How is that evil? People used to kill people like those who practice Wicca and yet, miraculously, THE WITCHES are evil. I find it unfair. Sometimes I find it tempting to explain the concept of Wicca when people start dissing on the Craft. Do you ever wish you could reach out more to the rest of the religious community, whether you follow the Path of Olde or not. Wicca is the type of thing you learn about and wish other people could learn about too. The person who I know is a Wiccan Witch is almost like my mentor of the Craft, he is a proud Wiccan who I respect quite a lot. I wish you could meet him. He's like a big, slightly-perverted teddy bear, and he is also very big into explaining and talking about his spirituality. Also, I'm glad to meet a fellow Religion-Research-Aholic. @NobleWolf

It's so weird isn't it. I think I may have seen that website, is it the landover bapist church one? If it is, that website is a prank, it's run by athiests :S I personally don't try all the time to help others understand the religion, because I hate the feeling of trying to convert someone, even if it was not my intention. One of my closest friend is a pagan (and he's like a pervy teddy too :D ), and he's asatru, but it took him AGES to fully grasp the concept of Wicca. Have you had many friends who just refuse to be open minded enough about Wicca? @3ternally
