Na'ats are okay too, @Ashha786, but do not prefer them over Durood, and care should be taken that they do not contain any matter that promotes Shirk or anything that goes against Islamic injuctions...

@Ashha786...at one point you'd asked me where I get my evidence from about the way how Meelads are celebrated...I must have missed that before...but I would like to let you know that this way of celebration is very very common in Pakistan, which is really sad, because being an Islamic country, this shouldn't be happening here. Come to Pakistan some time and you'll see

I'm sorry if this offends you or something but Pakistan isn't as MUCH an Islamic country as it used to be.. I mean, in the time of Qa'ide Azam Muhammad Ali Janah, it was a Islamic country. A lot has changed now, there's a big difference. Pakistan is kinda sorta like England now.. And just because its like that in Pakistan does NOT, I repeat NOT make it as if everyone does it like that.

And for your information, I'm Pakistani so I think I know..

(PS, no matter what you say will make me change my opinion. I will keep reading na'ats, celebrating the Prophet (sallallahu ta'ala alayhi wasallam)'s birthday. No matter what. I mean, I'm no Shaykh but I think I know what my Aqidah is.)

Hmmm...I just felt I had to convey my message to all...at least do my duty as a Muslim the best I can...I can't force you of course :) but I'm with you if you celebrate the birthday by Duroods and "nice" Na'ats :) and about Pakistan, sad as it is, but it's perfectly true :(

@ShazKay Yeahh.. I feel like the bad guy. Surely all na'ats are nice? Btw in the Hanafi madhab, ''music'' is permissable (in na'ats) as long as you don't use it for na'ats about worldly things.

@Ashha786 @ShazKay seriously, just dont talk about Pakistan anymore. They is nothing we can do for Pakistan. Just let the people do what they want to do b/c they have already been warned. You two right now need to worry about your own faith. Try not to become corrupted. You two are lucky you live in Europe or an Islamic country because most Muslims are accepted there. Here in America, it's very prejudice and Muslims here really become corrupt because they want to be like the Americans but a lot of things that America does is Satanic like halloween and wearing sexy and unmodest clothing. Im not saying all America is bad but it defiantly is corrupt. Muslims are really attacked here because a lot of Jews and Christians control America. Anyway, can we please not talk about the prophet's birthday or na'ats anymore? @Ashha786 you said that no matter what @ShazKay said you would still not listen so obviously you are looking for an argument.

However, you said that you thought @ShazKay wasn't looking for an arguement but I was. YES i know @ShazKay started it again but then you came across with an attitude that sounded like you were ready to fight again. Anyway, we both misunderstood. Hopefully, we have officially come to a compromise. And it's not like i hate you or anything. I just dont arguments or fights :)
