vampires and animals

ok so my topic is vampires and animals. I've always wondered why the two cant just get along. And I'm not talking about actually being nice as friends... i mean they could but still. Anyway i this makes sense in my head I just cant word it right.... Well ill try. Vampires dont have pets. Why is that? Dogs and cats or rodents maybe even a fish!! They are ALL man's bff.

So why cant a vampire be happy with his little pet? Is happiness too much to ask?

I know this is really dumb. I bet anyone who is reading this is shaking their head goind 'damn this girl is stuupppiiiiddd. lemme me tell you something im crazy and random not stupid. But i do know the blood appeals to vampires even if it is animals and the animals sense the the predators but still is happiness too much to ask????
