@Molly7c Oops, sorry, I didn't get a notification on your comment :(
The shut down a few days ago was caused by an outage on Wattpad's server, Amazon EC2 which caused the crashing of several other websites that use it such as Reddit, Quora, Foursquare, etc. This is the first crash that has happened during my time here so, no, it's not spasmodic :)

@Tashababy_91 Just go to the page of your story and highlight the address on the address bar. Then, you can copy it by right-clicking and clicking copy or pressing Ctrl+C. You can now paste it on any text based box like the ones on the forums and messages. Just make sure to keep the advertisements in the Share Your Story Club :)

Joined: 2011-06-02Posts: 91 year agoHi Im new to Wattpad too, and I want to upload a story. Its in many parts and Im going to upload it one part at a time, but I was wondering if any one has the same problem while uploading as I do - which is that when I see my preview, there is no spacing between my lines. Even though i have pressed enter and manged my spacing to make my story look the way I want it to, it doesnt show up in the preview. What could be going wrong?

Joined: 2011-06-03Posts: 21 year agoHello, world of Wattpad! I am new here as well, so forgive me for my lack of knowledge in all things Wattpad-related. Not exactly sure how it works just yet. I'm both a reader of these fantastic stories, as well as a writer. I have some ideas going, but not sure how to write them down yet, so I will probably take forever and a day to plan only one chapter. Never fear, for they will be up eventually. Anyway, I'm glad to be here and ready to do some heavy reading and (hopefully) equally heavy writing! :)

@LoveNutella Hi! Sorry for the late reply. What exactly do you mean that there's no spacing? Do you mean it's a complete run-on that occupies only one line? I just tried the preview thing and mine appears to be in order. Hmm, maybe it was a one-shot thing. Try it again and reply if you're still having the same problem :)

@Hplvrfvr55 First, hover your mouse cursor above the Hi (username)! at the top of any Wattpad page. A drop-down box will appear and from then, click My Account. On the My Account page, look at the right-hand pane and search for the section that reads PROFILE PICTURE. Click Change and then a pop-up will appear asking you to upload an image file from your computer (The recommended size is 128x128 pixels). Hope that helps! @Lovekiller1254 Sorry for the late reply. Well, one way is by going to the story page and looking for the Writer Tools section. There, you can click Photo after which you can paste the link to a picture on the internet.
