@SRae91 I'm so sorry to trample on your pretend relationship like that. But I find Mr. Grumpy a bit bitter, to be honest.

Time for math pick up lines! (which would probably actually work on me)

I am cosine squared and you are sine squared and together we make one! I wish I was your derivative so I could lie tangent to your curves! Hey, nice asymptote! I'm not being obtuse, but you're acute girl! I'll take you to your limit if you show me your end behavior!

    @spikkelchicken Yep I did!

Lol, I'm kidding. With all respect I think Mr. Grumpy is handsome.... He's just a bit too trolly for me. (I wish he won't see this)

I think it's just right to say that you're acute girl, I'm not being obtuse but you're just scalene at all angles.

hahaha @MsRight I bet the ubergoddess with disagree... or perhaps it is hius very trollyness that makes him her favoured one.

Now, tasting put me in mind of a pickup line that was thrown at me int he bar lne of a music festival I attended a while back... :

"you look delicious... mind if I have a taste?"

I was never so glad as just then for the wedding ring on my finger, which I very obviously flaunted before the scumball's face.

@ashura_B Hmmmm, yeah... that's not always a plus, you know. marriage is like bag full of cats... not always the easierst thig to handle. Sometimes I think I'd rather tame an ostrich.

I would have poured my drink over him, but I;d beenwaiting flipping long in that cue and it was a boiling 44 degrees celcius outside and we were inside a marquee with NO ventilation. Not even five minutes later, I heard him trying the line on some other girl.

@ashura_B I don;t think most married people understand them dear

Well, just imagine - a couple of cats - mad as hell- in a bag, writhing, spitting, claws and teeth poking throuhg the material - pretty hard to handle... and best done with gloves and perhaps even full body armour on.

@ashura_B don;t hate grumpy... like all men, you have to learn to understand him.. Yes, loving couples are the norm, but passion is not a docile emotion - it takes a lot of hard work to keep them fires ablaze!

Everyone is out of my league. Only because you're all playing baseball and I'm playing the *sitar*. Different schools, different rules.

I come across as bitter? I would hope to be more like lager. Tasty and fizzy and if you fill the glass to quickly I froth all over the place. Um... *sidles away from metaphor as quickly as possible*

@ashura_B hello how are you I am fine

I knew a friend once who snapped and lost his manners. He was crossing the road and the fender of a porsche hit him in the hip and he literally snapped in half. He cried and I found this in very poor taste. I consider it bad manners for men to cry in public. I told him so at the time, but he didn't seem to want to listen to my advice. There really is no helping some people, don't you think?

I'm looking forward to see you lay out the weaponries. You might consider including a billy club, one of the lesser used weapons but ultimately effective in hand to hand combat. You shouldn't make a schoolgirl error though and accidentally try to wield a billy *goat* in hand to hand combat. It would probably bite you or something and as a form of melee weapon it seems a little cumbersome to be honest. I'm surprised you even suggested it.

The two Ronnies were a pair of comedians from the 70s and 80s for whom I have an immeasurable soft spot. They made my childhood funny and were a gentle fore-runner for my developing sense of humour which I lost in 1998 when I sold my soul to the devil in return for extraordinary good looks. I have since discovered that women like funny men better than handsome men so you can understand I am rather irked. And now, thanks to this thread, I discover I am not even handsome so I feel I have been completely conned by this devil character. I wonder how he sleeps at night.

    All the best :-D
