I've been working on a thriller story. It's called Komodo, and can be found on my profile. I've only uploaded a prologue and a chapter, but there will be more to come very shortly. It's a zombie apocalypse tale. I'm very conscious of the cliches that go with that genre, and promise to give any readers a new adventure with Komodo.

I hate being limited to these genres...I feel like my book doesn't fit exactly. Primarily it's a thriller/horror (light horror- I try not to write brainless characters falling down and I don't have much blood)/suspense, comedy, supernatural/spiritual story. Kinda fits all...even has some romance in there... It's called Northwoods. I don't have a cover yet, and I've only got the prologue uploaded. I have oh...16 chapters that I need to edit and rework a bit before I post any, but I hope to have Chapter 1 or so uploaded within a week. The prologue is set a century ago, the rest of the book takes place in modern times with high school kids as the central characters.

Read mine please!!! I've been working on it for 15 years (been takin' my time, I know), finally have this outlet to get my stuff in front of other people, please give me some comment, criticism, etc. I wouldn't say this is my life's work, but it's been in my head and heart (not to mention haunting my computer files) since I was in 10th grade, so I really want some feedback as to whether this story is any good and what tweeking my writing might need (I tend to be a little description-heavy). Please read mine, comment, and I will read your work and give you feedback!

The percentage of missing persons had sky rocketed over the course of the last few months and to make matters worse, most of them had been popping up dead across the state of New York. Now it’s up to Scarletti to crack the case before anymore bodies turn up. The case gets even more complicated when criminals start to appear trussed up like a thanksgiving turkey in front of the police station. There’s whispers on the wind of a mysterious savior that prowls the streets protecting the innocent, whose only calling card is a scythe engraved into the gift wrapped criminal’s skin. Now Scarletti must not only find the rest of those missing before they wind up dead, but also bring the mysterious vigilante, that the media dubbed Reaper due to his calling card, to justice before he gets the taste for blood.
