Celebrity Photos Question

Hi all! Hope this is the correct club for this question. I've seen a lot of great book covers on here containing pictures of celebrities and I was just wondering how they were found. I've read that you have to get permission to use certain images (especially of celebrities) so I wondered:

A) Did you find a website(s) where it's legal to use those types of photos?

B) Pay for the photos?

C) Just taking a chance and using 'em anyway? ;-)

D) Something else?

Also, do the same rules apply when you add photos/slideshows to your stories? That's the main reason I'm asking because I'd like to add photos of my story cast. Thank you in advance for your help.

@Megabucks A lot of people just use pictures from google images. And if it was illegal for you to put it on a cover why wouldn't it be illegal for it to be on google images so that's why most people on wattpad use those pics. Hope this helped...:)

@JBSoulRider Well hello! I had just about given up on getting a reply. I just decided to go for it and used Google images. Hopefully, no one will arrest me ;) Thank you for your input.

@Megabucks Your welcome! And like I said mostly everyone on wattpad does that I've even seen it on the most popular books! I do it too... But I'm really glad this helped:)
