Welcome to cover critiques, where you can get a free, honest critique on your cover. I'm Christie. I may not be an expert, but I'm very picky when it comes to covers. The only rule here is: No complaining if you get a bad critique. I'm generally a nice person, so don't try to piss me off.

My partner @infinitive will critique when I'm busy. :)

1. State the genre of the cover you'll post, so that I know how it should look.

2. Post the cover. (It can be any size as long as it's proportional to 256x400)

3. Wait for your critique.

EXAMPLE:

Aside from the critique itself, I will rate your cover from 1-5, 5 being the highest.

5 - Jesus, that's amazing!

4 - It looks great!

3 - It's good enough.

2 - It needs a lot of work.

1 - Not something I'd want to look at.

If it's something in between (ex. 4.5) you'll understand.

Critique: I like the blending you did, except for the space on top of the map. You should erase that part carefully. The color of 'Hello' doesn't really match, on my opinion. I really like how you put 'Manhattan' there. That part's really pretty. Good luck and keep practicing! :)

Critique For: @Dark-Shadow

Critique: I would like to start this critique by asking: Do you use powerpoint? I love the text effects you did, the font & font styles are flawless. The photo of the girl is clear and the roses add a great touch to it. The only thing I don't really like about it is that the background is a bit blurry and the light spot above the girl's head doesn't look like it should be there. All in all, it looks beautiful! Carry on the good work:)

Critique: The words have good placing, and I like seeing words placed that way. I also love it when the authors name has a bit of spacing. (You've probably noticed that almost all my covers :P) The cover is a bit dark though, which is good if it's a sad story. The stick thingy on the side bothers me a bit though. Good work Squishy!

Critique: Me like-y collages. My favorite part about your cover is the font & style of the title. It's simple yet eye-catching. You could try to use a softer brush to erase the cut out of the girl. The author's name isn't that visible, so I suggest you make it bolder or change the color. The background is really nice and clean. In the bottom of the cover... are those feet? lol

Critique: Again, powerpoint has pretty text effects. I especially love what you did to the words 'WHY DID I FALL'. The colors you sued for the author's name look sort of random. The image is a bit blurry... I don't know what else to say, sorry if this was too short DX

Critique: I really like your cover. Your cover is smooth and somehow gives me a comforting aura. {Do you get me?} But one thing I don't like is the font. Try some cursive fonts and give more emphasis on it. All in all, that is a cover and your cover is to die for. :)
