Annabella Ghould was a normal girl in the island of Linios, with no chance of the adventure that she sought after. Plagued by a weak heart she finds herself yearning for the adventures her mother always told her. Yet when taken by pirates, on Captain Konrad's orders, things don't go according to plan.

Captured Annabelle is given a chance of survival and adventure, for just one thing in return: she must help free them. As she grows wierdly custom to their antics and this disfunctional family, Annabelle realises that there is more than what meets the eye. If the pirates don't get rid of their curse, they'll all die.

Annabelle promises to help them regardless of the cost, the thought of adventure and magic to much of a gift to set free, but when old and new enemies start to cause distruction on them, will Annabelle be able to save- not only herself, but everyone else. Or will her broken heart let her down in her time of need.
