Can I just ask...?

Why One Direction? Why oh why oh why oh why? Every other new story on Wattpad? Really fan fiction teenage girls? Do you actually listen to any other bands? Do you actually understand how totally shit your One Direction fan fics are? Do you know how depressed you are making me feel? I mean, it's bad enough that One Direction walk the Earth. Now I have to wade through fan fictions too?

Wattpad has really opened my eyes to the disaster that is the teen generation.

@thunderusappotamus One Direction... *shudders, cries* no... they're almost as bad as Bieber and his/her/its fanfictions... why can't there be David Bowie or Sex Pistols fanfiction?

It depresses me that all girls between 12 and 16 can think of to write about is the horrific spawn of yet another TV "talent" show... and, no, they don't listen to any other bands.

@thunderusappotamus I really couldn't agree more!!! I mean, first beiber, and now one direction!!! It's like, guys, have some iIMAGINATION!!! I don't particularly hate them, but when every freaiing teenage girl can talk about and listen to on one but them, it starts getting to you -.- plus! don't act like you know them, cause you DONT!

@StormySkyDiver I realized that I could name all of them, complete with surnames the other day. I was instantly, tremendously ashamed of myself, and had to purge my brain by listening to my punk/new wave/rock playlist for a good couple of hours.

In my day it was Nsync and Backstreet Boys. Later, on another site it was Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and (oddly, at least to me) Avenged Sevenfold. The fads, the just keep rolling. I've reached the point now I just shrug and put my head back down when another one pops up.
