Meet Emerson 'Em' Styles, she did exactly that.

After bumping into a curly haired boy in Starbucks, her love life had never been the same. The two of them had become inseparable, although both of them knew it had to end when Harry had to return home to England. He had told her that 'he would never forget her' and that 'he would never find someone like her again' and promised to come back for her.

Two years later Em is back, still heart broken and still in love with the boy she knew would have forgotten her by now. Two years later and Em is still stuck in New Jersey waiting for the curly haired boy to come for her. Two years later and he's back too.

Throw in a tragic social life, a nosy uncle, and meeting the boy who never forgot you again.. And there you have it, Em's 'not-so-tragic-but-awfully-pathetic love life'.
