Not my story, I discovered it a couple of months ago and I'm loving it so far. The blurb:

Now I am nothing. Fallen. A bitter memory of an age long passed. A broken old fool too stubborn to die.

The blurb doesn't quite cover how addictive this story is, after the first few chapters I was hooked, I couldn't stop reading. I don't think it has the publicity it deserves, and though I am not the writer I hope that the author doesn't mind me advertising his work.

**I held her close, she was drenched and shaking like a leaf, I could hear her teeth chatter above my ragged breathing. I had never been so worried in my whole life; if i had arrived just few second later she could have been lost to me forever. It seemed like I could never keep her in my grasp, I could never keep her safe; it was like trying to catch smoke. My front was now soaked from holding her and I was freezing in the night air; she must feel like a block of ice.

"Oh Olivia." I muttered "Why is it so hard to take care of you?" I said this more to myself than her but she answered my rhetorical question anyway.

"Because," she began, trying to speak through her chattering teeth and gasped breaths. she continued determinedly despite me trying to keep her quiet "because I-I.....I'm not..w-wo-worth looking after." hearing this I went completely still and cold. This was a different kind of cold to the icy breeze I was feeling, this was a sickening cold and I wanted nothing more that to make it go away**

Olivia is 16 and unfortunately her problems go deeper than clothes, boys and blemishes. Although she'd never admit it she has some deep rooted anger and trust issues. However this isn't just effecting her, its effecting her family and friends. can a new appearance in her life, Darren, along with her best friend Andrew help her with these issues or will they all be led into fatal disaster?

This story isn't a normal romance, its more dark, dramatic and emotional
