Need ideas for short stories please!

Hi, I'm new here. I'm looking for short story ideas, just something to write before I start writing more lengthy novels. Help, please!

ok here it goes: theres this girl and shes sick. not like cancer sick, like psychoic sick. and she hides in her basement all day, waiting for the "rabbits" (who are her imaginary friends). one night, when the rabbits dont come to visit her, she goes on a rampage and kills her paents cuz she thinks they killed the rabbits. this could be short stroy OR long story, and it could be told during when it happened or like shes in court over her parents murder and the prosecutor is like explaining this to everyone in the jury.
