Well hello there, interested and Awesome people! :3 If you have clicked this awesome thread, then you may just be interested in writing a collaboration with me! What this means is...

I am best at fantasy, thriller, non-teen fiction, teen fiction. NO girlxgirl or boyxboy. I know it's a fact of life, but I don't like writing about it. ^.^ It takes me a while to write a chapter, so please be patient with me. T.T I like good, quality chapters!!

We have the same standards ;) I'm interested. Do you mean, by a quick segment, just write a small piece on this forum? I write fantasy and thriller. I don't know about non-teen fiction, but I suppose I could write it as long as I don't have to write anything inappropriate.

Here goes:

Michael's eyes trailed the ivy crawling across the stone ceiling, sneaking through the cracks and twisting down pillars. His bare feet probed the ground ahead of him as he walked forward. Stars shown through gapes formed by crumbling rock. At any minute, the ceiling could cave in and crush Michael. The sound of boots slaping the ground hit his ears.

They were coming.

Yah, that's kinda my thing. I'm best with dialogue and suc, so.. yah.

I know it's a pain. I'll do a little ad lib here, if you insist.

The girl that was not there stood in the shadows, surveying the scene. A scorched battlefield lay before her, the bodies of the dead and dying littering the ground. A few bemused crows flapped around the hulking body of a dragon, unable to decide quite where to start with this monstrosity.

And then there were the things that no-one else could see. The souls of the recently dead, hovering over the bodies that they had until recently called home, some even trying to resuscitate their own corpses. The girl shook her head sadly; she had seen it all before. Drawing the scythe from across her back, she set to work.

Well, that's me. My dialogue usually ends up being mildly humorous and rather sarcastic, but I can manage serious as well. Hope you don't think I'm a total failure.

Oh, and obviously I prefer fantasy. Or science fiction I can manage. But under no circumstances should you ask me to do romance. I will find you and gut you in your sleep.

Just kidding.

Count me in, please! Here's a small sample of my writting: I ran out of the house, tears leaking down my cheeks. I heard my brother following me, but I didn't turn back. I ran and ran, but I would never be able to forgive what my father had done. I ran until I got to the forest and climbed up into a tree, hopping to lose Kaden. It worked. I rested back against the trunk. Talia... Tears continued to leak down my cheeks. She was dead, my father had killed her. I can never go back; never. I hate my life. I hate my parents. I hate everything. I cried softly to myself and hugged my legs closer to my chest. Dad... you're going to pay!

I usually overdo it with dialouge, but that's my writing style. I can do better if you wish :) My topic is usually fantasy and any kind of fiction, since I can't do non-fiction. just a note - I am bad at romance, but I can manage. Hope you don't think I'm a failure!

@AlwaysInMyDreams So I accepted your little dare and have decided to join this collaboration, if I do get accepted. My ideas and stories are usually fantasy and science-fiction based, maybe some adventure, and I always enjoy a bit of romance but too much is overwhelming :L I try my best with action scenes but I usually just end up sucking :/ Here's my writing piece:

Splinters of wood went flying as the arrow hit the red spot of the target, causing the target to shudder from it place hanging on the tree.

“Damn, Scar,” Rodger exclaimed from behind her. “You could hit a horse running a hundred kilometres per hour with that kind of accuracy.”

“Language, cousin,” Scarlett said, turning her head to glare at him. He only smirked wider, causing Scarlett to roll her eyes. Her body fully turned to face the blonde-haired boy. “What are you doing here anyway?”

Um, I'm not even sure that's a very good example of a writing piece but I can't think of anything else o.O If you'd like, I can show you something else.

@AlwaysInMyDreams Yay :3 As for the collaboration, what story will we be writing? Like, in an alternate universe, or on earth, or something else? Or are we going to discuss that later?

@AlwaysInMyDreams @theenchantedbunny That's a good point, actually. Cause if we're creating our own world, we need to agree on the the rules. For example, which creatures exist? Otherwise in one chapter someone will be like "don't be silly, dragons don't exist" and then in the next chapter one will fly past in the background XD so we should maybe start thinking about that soon. Just a thought.

@EvilAligator True, true. There's the characters as well. We're going to have to be clear to each other what relationships and friends and such they're going to have. Though I don't think that should be a problem unless the writer after the first writer didn't read that writer's chapter, which would be just silly.

@theenchantedbunny Yeah, going from 'I LOVE YOU SO MUCH' to 'I CAN'T STAND TO LOOK AT YOU' with no provocation is probably a bad idea XD are we each creating a character and our chapter will be on that character, from their perspective or are we just focusing on one person?
