His mom deciding to move doesn't help with that. Now, he is at a new school with people who don't know anything about him except that he has no ears, and he doesn't want to be pitied for it. So when the Office delegates him a guide, of course he refuses. The girl refuses to give up on him though, which causes a multitude of problems for him.

Heroes are made only when tragedy strikes.

Alura is the most unlikely hero of them all. She witnessed a shooting at a local motel and was never the same. When she was told that she was supposed to be a hero she immediatly denied it; if she was a hero then she could of saved the man from the shooting. Hero or not, Alura was sent on a quest to not only save a world, but to save herself with the help of a depressed elf and cocky pirate prince.
