i write romance books but i can never get them good can you all help me think of ideas piz :)

hey i like writing romance books ( mostly naurto romance storys) but every time i write them they don't really sound good could you all help me with my love storys with ideas piz it would mean alot to me :)

In my opinion a romance novel is dependent upon good characters. If you write characters who have very clear quirks and traits and that an audience can get behind and sympathise with then you should have a good story. Most stories are based around a couple who should be together but there is an obstacle stopping them. That obstacle can be anything from one of them already being in a relationship, the couple initially disliking each other, age gap, anything really. One of the most famous examples being a family feud in the case of Romeo and Juliet. Sometimes it is useful to add minor conflicts e.g. problems at work, to provide your audience with more knowledge about your MC. For example in Pride and Prejudice Lizzie has to cope with her crazy family as well as the conflinct of misjudging Darcy's character. Most importantly the romance should build up to a crescendo at the end. They should not fall in love within the space of two chapters, the build up should make up the majority of the story. That is the basic list of ingredients I use when writing romance. Hope it helped :)
