Where the One Direction Fans At?

Honestly, I'm not a fan of them and I never fail to bash them in some of my stories. I usually refer to them as five year old girls on caffeine, and the bad kind too. Aha In my new story The STD Trace, I had a lot of people get mad at me for saying that. Not like I minded, I thought it was funny.

So, I just don't get the deal about them. If anyone of you 1D fans can give me a REALLY good reason for why you like them, I may relent :D

It's kind of disgusting how I'm seeing all of these stories pop up and some of them are even in my recommended reading. I mean, what do they even see in them to make them be so obsessed? I'd like to see girls raving on about guys who actually do things that impact the world in a positive influence, you know?

@Musiq4lyf If someone's already feeling down about themselves, they shouldn't rely on another person to replace their feelings. When their hopes are gone, what's left of them now? The utterly meaningless feelings from the beginning, and even more anxiety from the people that left them. I wonder what shall happen to One Direction fans when One Direction disperses.

I completely agree with all of you. This is just another lame fad. Watching all these silly fan fics get posted makes me wonder when music turned from actual MUSIC to just image. I mean, the boy band smiles, they sing a song about why I'm Beautiful, people realize that they're foreign, and then they're a freakin' hit! Why?! honestly, it's just another average band with pretty faces. -_-

I mean, if you're a boy band you're automatically hot because you can sing. BAM, made. Same for girl bands, except flipped. If all the girls are hot, BAM. You are made, doesn't matter if you can't sing worth shit. As you have said, IMAGE IMAGE. That's why the best singers can't win American Idol. You have to have that "marketable image."

I don't want to read stories about people I can see on TV everyday. I want to read about something entirely new that a person crafted in their head.
