I am writing book about Greek mythology and i am about to write a battle scene. I wanted your opinion on some good gods and goddess to include. We will discuss powers, appearances, etc... and i'm looking for those other than popular ones. I want some uniqueness.

Well i incorporated many of my main female characters into my story. Like Nemesis for revenge. Venus & Aphrodite for love, both from greek and roman mythology. If you want unique ones you could google it. I know this site with a HUGE list for greek goddesses. @BonnieSara

If you want the out of the box ones that aren't really spoken of alot there is:

    NIke: Goesses of victory

Iris: Godess of the Mist and Rainbow

    Cratos:God of strength and power

    Hestia: Godess of the Hearth*

    4 Winds Boreas: North Wind

    Eurus: East Wind

    Notus: South Wind

    Zephyrus: West Wind*

    * Here alot about them but not as popular as the main 12

In my opinion, it's fun to use main Gods because it's a lot easier and fun, but it's super badass when people use the not-so-important Gods, in their stories. The not-so-important Gods/Godess's usually have cooler mini versions of powers, and they're just a lot more fun to read about.

Hecate - (a.k.a. Hekat, Hekate, Trivia) Goddess of magic, witchcraft, ghosts, and the undead. Nemesis - (a.k.a. Rhamnousia, Invidia) Goddess of retribution (vengeance). Thanatos - (a.k.a. Mors) God of death.

For greek mythology you have so much scope, you can use the gods both minor and 12 olympians Titans, Naiad's (nature spirits)

@BonnieSara I love greek mythology but i have to say that I do like one of the half-popular Goddesses Artemis, I always think she is worth mentioning :)

@BonnieSara I like Morpheus - God of dreams - able to take human form & appear in dreams. (Might be interesting if a character had a nightmare or something or put some people in the battle to sleep). Hope I helped. :)

I'm writing an adaptation of the Greek myth of Perseus and Andromeda (an Ethiopian princess). When I finish I will upload the whole thing here on Wattpad.
