What are your thoughts.... Life on other planets? What other solar systems look like? How does the universe tie into spiritual faith?

@SecretMae Life on other planets, I think it will never be found, just an opinion though.

What other solar systems look like, just planets orbiting about suns, that orbit around another center, which orbits another center, which orbits a black hole, which orbits a bigger black hole, etc.... It's such a wonderful universe :)

How it ties, it shows how great the maker is :)

@SecretMae To me there is nothing spiritual about the universe, it is simply here. Life on other planet is definalty there, life on Earth was created by mistake. Humanity and all life on Earth or any where is just that bit of bacteria that grew in the back of the fridge. The Universe is the most wounder and beautiful thing, from side to side it is nothing but natural beauty waiting for discovery.

Judging by the size of the Universe, the amount of stars and number of planets it is certain that life can and does exist, there is not reason why the same mistake can't happen twice, the Universe does not learn. We will deffinatly one day make first contact, maybe not in this life time but further down the line when we finaly reach out and colonise space.

@SecretMae I won't go into the scientific info stuff on the universe now... because that would end in utter madness of all involved parties. I'll also not go into the spiritual issues, because that would end in utter madness of all involved parties. As for life out there, the odds say, "Yeah." ---> http://aquapour.com/alien-bacteria-fossils-found-in-meteorite-by-nasa-scientist/556290/

@MotazAbumathkour Of course I don't. I created NASA as we know it today. To distract people from the truth.

@MotazAbumathkour Well, I must cite the title of a horrible album: Never say never. Maybe life will be found, but I'm sure it's there.

@TheLocalGuerilla Off topic ramble... He was so not the first person to say that. I've heard the term "Never Say Never" for years. Back on topic, I totally agree with you. never say never! lol

@HenrySJohnson it's not like that, but their recent researches have made me think that the money spent on them is just a waste.

@TheLocalGuerilla well, no arguing it's a horrible album :) , but although the universe is literally infinitely large, the chances of finding other lives are also infinitely small, there's no saying for sure in this matter, it's just opinions :)

@MotazAbumathkour Well basically they say you shouldn't say never when referring to something because about the time you do you'll end up doing it anyway. Like saying "I'm never going to get fat." In ten years you might be fat. lol or whatever.

@MotazAbumathkour Anyway enough about Bieb lol. I don't know about you all, but regardless of spiritual beliefs I think everyone looks up at the night sky and feels some type of way. Its magnificent.

@SecretMae yes, I felt this way last year, was walking home from a friend's house, and electricity was cut on the whole neighborhood, the stars were amazing. And I was once traveling by car, so we went through a desert, and the sky was even more magnificent, I should have took that photo.

@TheRobot I believe that the universe was created intentionally by God. u may or may not agree, but try looking at the whole subject logically: *if the earth was formed by a mistake, then what are the odds of that mistake ever occuring? For all we know, that "mistake" could have never happened after all, and there would still be nothing. we wouldn't exist if it was like that. *Think of the universe like a chair - the chair wasn't created by an accident, and it wasn't a mistake either because SOMEONE thought of the idea and decided to take it seriously, because chairs have a purpose: to be sat on. Chairs don't evolve gradually from a lump of wood, to a shape, then to a design without the person who owns the pair of hands actually getting up and doing some work. Our universe could be a little like that. if i used the bacteria example, then what would cause the bacteria to grow? How would it take shape? or why would it "just happen"? basically, like the chair, our earth has a purpose also - to be lived on. mistakes don't have purposes, because a mistake is a mistake; something not intended to happen. if the earth is for living on, then why would that be a mistake? we can't pack our bags and ship off to mars because it doesn't have the right equipment for us to live on. i believe there is a "fuel" for everything. try googling it. eg, a car needs fuel, a person needs a motive to take an action. .......perhaps the "fuel" could be someone called God? i like to think there is someone bigger out there whom i can trust, who is creator of everything. after all, all books need writers because they can't just pop up without anyone to come up with the idea for their stories anyway. like the earth; it is one big story with all its history.

.........anyway, hope you found that insightful in some way, even if you don't entirely agree with me. ;) but at least you would have taken the time to read my reply:) !

@angels_are_waiting If your "god" had created this universe, he made a great mistake then.
