Everyone has their own opinion on how the universe was created or formed, we are just putting logical reasons and ideas out there to explain why we believe what we do :)

I think other lifeforms can exist on other planets in the universe, since earth isn't the only planet that can support life that we know of. The size of the universe is impossible to describe, and it's still expanding. But that also poses a problem: it's gonna be hard to find the right planet.

I don't know about intelligent life, they could exist, but I doubt they could actually find us. The size of the universe comes to mind again.

I am an atheist, so I don't look at the universe in a spiritual way. I don't think the universe was a 'mistake',

I also don't think that we or the universe has a 'purpose', atleast not a divine one. Your life only has a purpose if you give it one.

I know it's a cliché, but I do believe it to be true.

There is as much of an eternal universe within us as there is without, not to mention dimensions far exceeding the three dimensional one we live in. Multi dimensional beings could be anywhere and every where... Actually so could we, we just can't realise it from this dimension.

We humans begin our spiritual, intellectual and physical evolution in our space-time universe which is the lowest, perfecting level. In this beginning trillion years age, it will have seven trillion human inhabited planets when all-perfected; then larger/longer universes/ages will become available to us without end. The highest and eternally perfect level is infinite-eternal Paradise in one and three and seven cosmic dimensions. That highest reality is space-concealed and now actually omnipresent. Bridging the perfect Paradise level and the lowest perfecting space-time level is a middle perfected level of one billion immense ultimate-absolute (maybe 5 and 6 dimensional) spheres to adjust us to eventually enter the perfect Paradise level and still be able to function on all lower levels in service-ministry to others.

I asked my friend this question and he said that in Genesis it says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." It could be signifying that there's only one earth and that was the sole planet for life, or it could not. Truth is, we don't really know !

This term is now popular and originated by the author Robert A. Heinlein who coined the term in his best-selling 1961 book "Stranger in a Strange Land" That is worth a read.

I used "Grok" in my above post to mean direct, wordless spiritual awareness/union/transformation -- cosmic consciousness. This universe is much more than just what we perceive with our physical senses. It is also fatherly and friendly in the big picture of Reality.

There is a 2097 page Epochal Revelation in the public domain that clearly answers many major questions of spirituality, religions, philosophy, history, cosmology, science, more.

It states indirectly that, in this first Grand Universe (Supreme) Age, there now are about six trillion human inhabited planets; and it states that when this (estimated) trillion year age is completed, there will be seven trillion human inhabited planets. Most of these planets are much older than earth; and the humans are far more evolved physically, intellectually and spiritually. Human life is more adaptive to extreme conditions than we presently know here. There is even a special human type created who can live on planets with no atmosphere. Because we are still primitive and warlike; none of these higher humans are now permitted to visit us. Yes, they can travel much faster than the speed of light; some of Einstein's theories are wrong. God is fully here in Spirit guiding and evolving us perfectly without over-riding excessively human freewill; so eventually we will become more Godlike, peace-loving and much more.

Then will come a much higher, larger Master Universe (Ultimate) Age. Then is possible an Absolute Age and also as a part of the Eternal-Infinite Plan of God.

Yes, the mathematician Georg Canter proved that there can be an infinity of infinities ! And yet, God the Father-Infinite I AM never loses his infinite reality and power ! This can be somewhat understand when you realize that God has no outside and no beyond. He is also the One un-caused Cause of all Eternal Realities.

@hargrla Some words in the current Bibles are incorrectly translated as singular, when the original words in Hebrew or Greek are plural. For example, in Hebrews 1:1-2 it should state that our Creator Son of God made the worlds, plural, not singular. But some modern Bibles have this wrong and just state world, singular.

@the_Snowflake_Doctor Saying that because throughout the ages one religion has thrived the most and is most appealing in modern society, it is logically true, is like saying War is right because we've done it so much, repeated it so much and since we've done it so much it's gotta be right, right? No, men are afraid of the unknown and when religion came along and provided a filler for the infinite unknown with a simple answer, men LIKED IT that's why religion is popular and Christianity is only the most popular because it is the most politically correct and better in comparison to human sacrifices on top of Aztec Temples. There is no proof of God but because of the infinite universe and the meaning of life and all the rest of the things we cannot comprehend, god is more appealing, religion is more appealing, the lesser of two evils. Religion is a crutch for those who hate not being able to know what you cannot know.
