Organize the Share Your Story Club - Petition

Have you ever had trouble promoting your story on the share your story club? We all have had the experience of being buried neck deep in stories while yours becomes lost under the plethora of genres that spam the share your story club!

Well the clubbers at the SciFi Club have devised a solution to even out the odds and balance everything in your favor!

"I think the one thing that can solve all this mess is to

CREATE A SHARE YOUR STORY CLUB FOR INDIVIDUAL CATEGORIES.

This way, people who LOVE a certain genre, maybe, I don't know, scifi, can link up with stories and people they are interested in, instead of being six feet under by the usual, cliched manure spam that tends to plague the Share Your Story Club.

So sure, if you like Romance, Vampires, and all that other goooooooood stuff, you can advertise your awesome beast writing and compete with others of the same genre.

If you like Scifi, you can advertise and compete with people with similar literary eloquence in the same genre

Honestly, I think if this were to be done, it would make getting readers, and generally, finding stories MUCH MUCH easier.

Perhaps asking Wattpad support en masse or starting a petition could get this done? I think the regular Share Your Story Club is really messy and cluttered."

Here's the problem! The Share your story club isn't organized into different genres! If you noticed, the Share Your Story Club combines ALL the genres into a SINGLE CLUB! This forces people to compete with different types of authors - if you're an aspiring writer, you'll be buried under the all the popular guys' stories

The thing is, is that you, the small guy, have no chance on the playing field to even get your story out there. We have all seen this first hand: you post something in the SYSC, you have to compete with ALL the other genres - this means that your story will have less than 1/20 of getting out there to your targetted audience.

You'll end up bumping your thread, shamefully, and begging for votes and comments.

This desperation is not necessary, however.

"This thread is the twin of another, in which both are dedicated to petitioning for Wattpad to organize their clubs, currently there is a jumbled mess of things in the Share Your Story club, with this petition we hope to persuade Wattpad to section different genres in the Share Your Story club, on this thread you can post your support and longer messages while on the other we ask simply to just post a small vote of positive help, the more people we get the better chance we have of change, please spread the word and share this forum link to all. Everyone is welcome because everyone here uses Wattpad."

If they split the Share Your Story Club into the different known genres, it will level the playing field for the smaller, less popular genres, and allow people to get their stories out to the people who love what you love!
