@AwkwardSilences I just don't think his love for her justifies any of the bad stuff that he's done, but I do believe that his loving Lily made him do the good things. And that means he did them for her and not to be good or because he wanted to be good. He just needed something to live for. I still believe him to be truly evil. But that may be just me.

It's voting time! Below are the different types of stories that you can vote on. Okay so my idea was that we each get two votes and then for like the top 3 - 5 (depends on how voting turns out) we can vote again. So here are the ideas;

1) LunaxDraco Love Story

2) Next Generation

3) Moaning Myrtles life during Hogwarts

4) Student from Durmstrang POV

5) USA wizarding school

6) Tom Riddle life at hogwarts

7) American witch/wizard transferring to hogwarts

8) What happened before Harry was born (his parents)

9) Time between when harry was at hogwarts and when his kids started

10) Twins. One witch on not. Witch gets accepted into Hogwarts… and so on.

11) Young Kingsley Shacklebolt

12) Filch's backstory

13) When Harry, Ron, Hermione, etc are out into the real world.

14) The life of Trelawny

15) A life with Nargles and creatures like that

16) If muggles found out about Hogwarts and everyone at hogwarts had to go to an american school

My thoughts on all the ideas:

1. it's not an overdone love story, but Harry Potter love stories are in general, overdone.

2. I've always wanted to write a next generation fan-fic but never got round to it. Would it be about HP, RW, HW and GP's children? (oh yeah I changed Hermione and Ginny's last names AND used initials! Burnnnnnn.)

3. Hmm... This could be a short story.

4. For like the Triwizard Tournament or life at Durmstrang? Both would be okay I guess but Hogwarts will always be the most epic school.

5. It's good, but it might have been done before. I don't know though.

6. Might have been done before, plus sort of covered in the actual HP a tiny bit so we might get criticised for not following that it we didn't.

7. Seen this before, loads.

8. Another good short story idea, don't think I could be a full book.

9. Maybe... But fan-fics are generally centered around the school so would it work?

10. I think I will vote for my own idea. Cause I'm hard like that.

11. Hmm... I personally don't like him so not for me sorry.

12. Another short story idea methinks.

13. Isn't that the same as 9?

This is a really good idea except wouldn't Americans find out about wizards/witches too? *lightbulb goes off in head* what about there's a secret american wizarding school that's been going for ages but no one knows about it and the way the accept their students is so discreet blah blah blah...

Overall I'd say I'm voting for a book of short stories with 3, 8, 12, 14 and 15. And actual books for 16, 10 and 2.

I'm gonna vote for 16 and 2 cause I think we can work with those. Plus, looking at everyone else's votes they all want to a USA based Harry Potter thing which is going to be really hard for me because I'm not American.

@XxXSkinnyLoveXxX I've seen American people coming to Hogwarts but I've never seen British people going to American wizarding school that needs a really cool name because it has to live up to Hogwarts standards.
