@GageLeBlanc2 - I tend more toward the fantasy side of writing generally and I'd say Green Mile is more dark fantasy than horror. I also loved the first few of the Dark Tower books and Talisman. Green Mile for me though was just a great blend of characters, clever storyline and oddly amusing little moments. Historically very neatly placed too. |

I like Shawshank redemption, the book was amazing and so was the movie. It reminded me of Green Mile when I read it, What are your thoughts on IT ? @TheOrangutan |

@GageLeBlanc2 - I'd forgotten about Shawshank, that's a grand book and a wonderful film. I haven't read IT. I saw the film and didn't really like it to be honest. I've never really been a fan of horror films. My imagination has better (and cheaper) special effects... |

LMFAO, the book is a lot !! different then the movie, The movie is more low budget and too long already so they couldn't add all the bloody good details :D |

@GageLeBlanc2 - sorry chief, hadn't realised you'd replied to me on this one, remember to hit 'reply'. I think the last of his I read was The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon. I got stuck at a party and woke up about three hours before everyone else and had finished the whole thing before anyone else woke up... |
