Cause sometimes when I go onto DevianArt it says something about copyright notices, so I never had the nerves to use their pics >.< @ClariiY

@heartburningwithfire Every picture has copyright notices (it is copyrighted the minute it's taken) ; the only way you can truly avoid that is go find free stock no-royalty images (many of which are terrible that's why its free); take your own; or buy it from shutterstock or something. If you're really concerned about it you can message the artists and ask for their permission.

@ketss13 uuuhhhh..... Try saving it in PNG? A different format? Photobucket and imageshack work fine xD I think it's something wrong with the iamge.

@cilla848 no author name? Don't outline the text box it looks too strong; Image size is tooo small. You might want to change the color tone of the image. Play with the text; you might want to try Century Gothic and making the 'P' a cursive font.

@ClariiY No, no author name. It's not a book cover. It's lyric art, was supposed to be In cursive and I download fonts from online as well...The original image was

I was going for more of 'simple' thing?

On the second one you posted, the colouring should probably be more subtle. Not an orange layer with random dots cut out of it...(that probably sounded harsh >_<)

@boopboppitydoop haha it's not an orange layer, it's a vibrance layer and it looked strange without it. it's actually a black and white layer with a mask with holes cut in it and lol i know her hair is really really strong

My covers are usually only as good as the image. All I do is slap some text on it.

@boopboppitydoop yeah i was trying a motion blur overlay. DID. NOT. WORK. OUT. lol.

same with mine. sometimes i add in extra color layers and stuff but this one was just a PSD, A gradient layer, A tree texture and Natalie Portman. :P
