Any good sci fi/ fantasy book suggestions?

Ok looking for some good science fiction to read. I don't really like romances or horros. Also, the more exciting the better.

I don't understand why people do not care about the difference between science fiction and fantasy however. If the difference isn't obvious then the so called sci-fi is actually fantasy.

This is my first story on wattpad, so it's only a few chapters in:)

When Docter Jay Osbourne releases his age defying pill, the people of the world go crazy for it. The concept of never aging was a new and exciting idea, and Docter Osbourne's fame sky rockets....until the pill malfunctions. The millions of people that took the pill fell horribly ill and eventually died. But not for long. Two years later the world is not the same. Fifteen year old Michaella lives in an empty apartment building with her little brother in abandoned Philadelphia. She stays hidden and without parents or anyone to protect her against lurkers, life for her isn't easy...until she runs into a small band of survivors. Michaella and her brother join them and she encounters a journey like she's never faced that's filled with danger and romance like she's never known. All the while traveling to a place that may not even exist, but constantly defending against the ravenous human bodies that roam aimlessly.

1. There is no gay romances in the book, if you read the summary it says HETEROSEXUAL which is straight.

2. Sci-fi is described, on Wattpad, revolves around futuristic views of humanity which is presented in my book.

I'm young, but not stupid.
