Stories to read!

Hey guys I'm looking for good non-teen fiction stories to read. It doesn't have be rated R or anything like that, it just has to have a good plot and be well-written. I really don't like stories with a LOT of mistakes but I don't mind if it's a few here and there :) I'm open to most plots but I'm getting kind of sick of the typical ones like pregnancies.

It's a romance/murder mystery set in Regency London and the Peninsular War. Jack believes his commanding officer and best friend has been murdered by a Napoleonic spy. But he discovers that Lucas has been keeping secrets from him - including a wife and daughter.

its about teenagers but it deals with more adult themes, not quite finished yet (im 13 chapters in)

its kind of a romance but that's not entirely what it's about if that makes sense. its more about something deeper and twisted. i hope you the chance to read it
