Vampires suck

@princessharley While I agree on 'imagination should run free', a vampire can truly not sparkle. It's against the law. Stephanie Meyer was a horrible exception, but then again, wait, never mind.

@princessharley replying to your 'rainbow skin and pink hair' comment, you need to remember the fact that a vampire hunts at night. Now, would a predator, built for killing, as SM states, so you can see she even somewhat opposes her own work, have skin/hair or any attribute that will make him easily caught? Won't that lead to starvation if the prey can escape before the Vampire can attack? See, even if Vampires do indeed sparkle, common sense, nature and science is against it.

@princessharley Their bodies aren't frozen, their just cold because they are dead. The blood helps to sustain some sort of movement into their bodies. That's why they're so pale. The blood is used to keep the body going rather than warm it up.

They can't reproduce because they are dead. That should be pretty clear. If they are frozen, then they can't move. That's simple Physics, like extremely simple. And blood goes to your heart, granted the vampires swallow, but then you have to think about the fangs. There's probably a reason why they have them to suck.

@xXxGTFO Yes but whatever you drink you goes to your digestive system, if that doesn't work then you'd just puke it up, or it'd just spill because they wouldn't have the puke reflex. If they can swallow then they're insides all work and if their insides work then so would their reproducing bits. Either all their insides work or they don't, can't really only be a bit that works! Simple really! By frozen I was referring to internally!

@princessharley Alright, we got reproduction out of the way, now for the feeding. They have no digestion or metabolism-blood goes in absorbs directly through GI tract lining to perfuse tissue. As they are dead, this must be incredibly easy for the blood to sink into the arteries (an exception of the pulmonary vein).

"Because of modifications to the digestive system, PCDH-Y was obviously not broken down in the stomach as with other proteins, but instead was absorbed with its full effects into the central nervous system. Those modifications probably also included anticoagulants that stopped blood from curdling in the stomach, thereby preventing any emetic effects of ingesting blood" -Wikipedia. If you think about it, it makes sense, thus proving the second point.
