I will critique and read your story ( only if it seems interesting enough, I usually read all types of genres but sometimes they just do not! appeal to me) . Ethel and Eli are twins on the brink of separation. The only way the twins can hope to be together is if they take an invitation to work for the eccentric and strange Dr. Abner Edwards. Seems simple enough, right?

But Dr. Edwards has a secret, one that involves a world that might just live right beneath the ground, a negro who claims to have powers to see the unseen, and an exotic boy who claims to be from the future.

How will the twins survive with an angry mob running after Eli, odd creatures attacking the patients, a civil war of another world effecting their own, or troubles with the time-space continuum? Never mind that, it's time for tea.

@SecretDivision Sorry for my late reply. But the story take place in 1862, so "negro" was what they called African-Americans. I'm not trying to be racist or anything...because I am African-American...it's just history

Title: Hold True

Summary: It's about a woman, you will see some of her past and present. When she was young she was captured by a sick and twisted man. He tortures her for years, murders everyone she loves just to see pain cross her face... Read to find out if she escapes.

I don't want to give up too much info, mostly because I dislike it when a summary spoils the whole story. I want there to be some mystery in it.

I am sooooo sorry I am taking so long. I am in a performance called "Ragtime" (the musical) and my director has been popping up random rehearsals. I promise to get to you tomorrow. Today was "hopefully" the last day for a rehearsal this week. Next week can't promise myself lol. But I will make sure to do my reading tomorrow! Thanks soo much for your patience! : )

"Just A Dare" (Watty Awards/Romance)

It was a mean thing to do, I admit. And I wasn't a mean person. But I did it anyways.

"It's just a dare," she said. "and it's not like you'll ever see them again." She persuaded me and I couldn't argue with her logic. I was moving across the state. So, I thought I would never see them again. You only live once, you know?

But I never knew that dare would make such a big impact on my life.
