Sports Fans, come out of the closet.

At least one or two of you other old farts have to be sports fans. Most of my sports friends are off serving so.... Speak up.

Anyone plan on following baseball?basketball playoffs?

Don't mind this random jump in by me, someone suggested I check out The Pub so I am and this is the first thread that caught my eye :-p

I'm a huge hockey fan but sadly my team sucked so I'm forced to bandwagon through the playoffs this year :(

I'm definitely going to take to calling it hand egg now. Thank you. The only sport I follow closely at all is MMA. Other than that, I pay enough attention to sports in general to carry on "water cooler" conversations, but deep down I know I have no idea what's really going on.

@ashiqtnt I'm glad I'm not the only one that see's American football more like Rugby... only wussier. Seriously people who play Rugby are fierce! There was a pick up Rugby league at a park near where I used to live and man those guys were macho!

Not macho in they popped steroids and had muscles bigger than my head, but macho because if they broke a bone I'm fairly certain they'd be right back into the match!Bone sticking out of their skin and all. It was quite scary... but oddly exhilarating at the same time.

@Prisim Rugby is a tough game. I always wanted to play but by the time I had cultivated an interest to play the game I was banned from playing any 'rough' sport. :( So I had to settle for volleyball.
