@clowen You've got to remember also that grammar changes from country to country. I use a lot of American grammar when I write... it's just habit, I had an old fashioned teacher in primary school that had us learn 'old fashioned' grammar... but Australian grammar is vastly different as is spelling and so on.

@challenge647 That makes you the knight maybe, however I'm not entirely sure at this rate. Good point, but sometimes after arguing over topics and things they agree with you and explain the true flaw honestly just takes time :) But for the most part it's like that just the few I've found have been good though again you have to realize they do introduction reviews and not whole story reviews, sigh.

Flashing images aka the medium of images on screens lmao! You know the ones with actors both good and bad that for some reason rule the world that we call Earth sigh. Swear ever since man figured out how to make film they have not stopped with a chance to rot brains further.

@Corinder Yes I have to keep recalling the differences but still being from this country has beaten that fact into my head. Sigh I guess I would be fine if I read works from outside of my native country, but sometimes books in my area are all that's available.

@clowen hehe I'm a knight :) as long as I get to slay the dragons lol @Corinder and really I haven't opened my eyes up to different grammer. I've heard about different styles of writing and storytelling in different cultures and settings but the grammer?? idk. There can't be that much of a difference between the word 'and' in america and lets say... Russia.

But hey, I've only been taught english. I might even decide to be a writer when I grow up :) idk correction:poet

And I HATE when I'm looking up a book on Amazon or something, and they do intro reviews....wdf.

And between books and movies I'll choose a book any day. As good as a movie can be visually stimulating, and all that jazz with their fancy actors and such, I could care less. I like the way a book feels, the way I can imagine things. Visuals don't give you that sense of imagination. A movie actually limits the person who's watching. Even so I have the tendency to ask "hey, is there a book version of that??"

It has been a great run everyone. But it seems that the group has come to an end, I'm unsure if that was clowen's final words but in the mean while I'll believe that it is.

We shall remember all the laughs and interesting debates we had in the tribal council lol :) This group was kinda the only reason why I stayed on wattpad. You made it worth while and opened my eyes up to something new, thnx

@challenge647 O.O that was like a declaration of death. I'm not dead just resting from the high levels of stress I took on. I'll be back again for sure just thought like the werewolf topic that was born without me that the group as a whole could support itself without my guidance. I'm fairly sure someone can debate on the topics of "Parodies" quite well if they get over the fear of leading in my absence, but rest assured I get the notifications. @challenge647 >.>...hen or bishop I'm all the same when my hand guides the pieces on the chess board times. I play two roles the guiding factor and the bishop. Those are my two core sides to my persona, and I'll start with a REASON to get some people heated like always.

When it comes to parodies from my experience there have been few parodies that attempt to design a story within this realm. So what would people prefer a subtle parody with a story line, an outward parody with loads of comedy but totally crappy story line, or some hidden merger of both styles?

Because I can see myself enjoying both for different reasons, but I'd prefer a story that I can remember over limitless comedy without any reason behind it. So I'll extend this further to humor in general. What do you prefer in your humorous parodies?

P.S. I'd advise not to tag me so I can rest in peace. Anyone that wants to stand up to the challenge and be the voice of reason in my absence, then I welcome you.

I hope you do realize that the only reason I didn't reply to our heated debate was because I lost all internet connections for a week and a half not because I backed off. Once I got back onto wattpad I realized the spark of that discussion was lost and you'll had moved onto other things. If it weren't for that I would have carried on but I think I shall hand over this one to you, because all in all you are to an extent right. And so am i.

Well you're a very interesting and fluent person to debate with and I enjoyed it. :)

Okay guys, I'm so sorry, I don't have any problems with my internet connection and I'm on Wattpad like all of the time, but I usually just check my news feed and then go off to do other things. I'm hoping when summer rolls around, and after I go to Nationals, I'll be able to start participating in threads (like this one!) again and upload on my stories again. But it's not that I forgot about you, I simply don't have the time I used to have :( I'm sorry! Hopefully one day I can return for good!
