Those were Annaliegh’s last words. I remember her easily—the curly blonde hair, electric blue eyes, and that attitude that everything was going to be alright. She practically raised me after my mother died a long time ago. I don’t remember her. Annaliegh was my entire world.

When she died, I couldn’t quite comprehend it. Her job—the Slayer—was given to me, but I was too young to fully understand. The blatant cruelty was beyond me at the time. It isn’t anymore. I know what they’re doing. I never did anything to stop it….until I was 15 and my whole world was ripped out from under me.

I thought that there was nothing the North could use against me, since I had nothing. I was dead wrong. I didn’t realize that the friends I had were more precious to me than anything. They realized it before I did. When I found out they were being used against me, I almost killed myself.

I know what I have to do now. I have to end the Slaying. For my friends and all the other Untouchables.

♦ Character Description: Well there's 5 main characters (all 15 yrs old), but Rae Alani is the MAIN main character, I guess xD so here's descriptions of all them, just in case. Rae Alani--medium length dirty blonde hair, blue eyes. Brecker Daniels--short brownish/blondish hair, athletic build, beautiful blue eyes ;) yes he's gorgeous. Penn Overstreet--tall, curly brown hair, brown eyes. Lleyton Cambell--short blonde hair, super bright blue eyes, kinda football style build (big). Dru Alexander--Asian, medium length black hair, brown eyes, very pretty.

♦ What would you like on cover: Um....wow....I'm kinda clueless. Maybe have Rae and Brecker....at least Rae....and have like a bronze dagger (bloody preferably)
