Okay now most serial killers amd people in a horror story have a weapon they're known to use. Take freddy, he uses a claw, Jason a machete, and Micheal Meyers uses a knife. So what are your favorite weapons or weapon of choice in a horror book, movie, show, ect....and why that weapon? Mine is any type of blade I can get my hands on, because I can adapt to them easily. |

@KnifeFanatic Rope. Easy to garotte and strangle people with - esp. from the back. Also because you can find it anywhere so you can incorporate into pretty much any story. And also because it will leave a mystery and let people think its suicide instead of a killer. ;) *Evil* That's my favourite weapon in books. |

Poison. Anyone can use poison. The frail old lady in a wheelchair, that psycho-six-year-old...anyone. Or you could always brand it suicide if it's in their nighttime cuppa. >) |

@KnifeFanatic I usually employ a U.S. Army & USMC M1903-A4 - safe, precise and quick. For CQB I'm using a Browning Hi-Power 9mm, but I don't usually get into close combat situations. |

@KnifeFanatic There's nothing like the feeling you have when you're standing on an observation post somewhere on a high building in a window, having your target right in front of your scope, knowing you could kill them whenever you damn well please. |

Honestly, I'll go with a pocket knife. The one I own to be exact. That or a Bowie hunting knife, that would have a more reliable handle. You can inflict a lot of damage if you known where to hit and if you're trying to not attract noise it's perfectly silent. Plus, theres no worry about running out of ammo. That's if I'm a serial killer. If I'm a victim of a live serial killer, same thing. If I'm the victim of a supernatural serial killer, fire. Give me matches and gasoline and I'll trap the fucker and burn him. If that doesn't work then it's time to just run til you can't move anymore. If m the victim of a werewolf, duh....revolver and silver bullets. If I'm the victim of a vampire...another duh, give me a crucifix and hammer. I'll use the crucifix as a stake. And if I'm the victim of a zombie apocalypse I'll use a gun. A double barrel shotgun to be exact. |

For everything you just said, give me any god damn blade and I'll be good, the only thing is is knowing which blade is right for which job. @CockneyBird3 Yeah, guns are good for long range but they don't offer the same amount of fun that a knife can bring onto the playing field. That saying of never bring a knife to a gun fight I don't believe because guns can be loud and heavy and if I can slit your throat before you know I'm there than I don't need to waste time. Plus guns run out of ammo. @JohnHStyles |

You can't use a blade to kill a vampire. Be smart. It has to be a stake through the heart. And for zombies, are you gonna be able to take off every head of a zombie when there's forty of them surrounding you and only you in the middle of a empty field and youve nowhere to run like in all the movies? And for a werewolf it has to be a silver bullet. And for a supernatural villain, a blade might not do the trick. It depends on their story. @KnifeFanatic |

@KnifeFanatic Trust me, I know that guns aren't totally reliable, but with certain situations they're what you need. Plus, like I said, a knife doesn't work for everything I mentioned. |

@KnifeFanatic not true. A vampire will completely reanimate itself and a werewolf would rip you to pieces before you could even get close to it, plus a werewolf would simply heal itself. A vampire must have its heart severed by a wooden stake, preferably as it sleeps. And then it's head chopped off. It must have both though, it must or nothing has been done to it. And with supernatural beings....think of Jason. Fast or not, that son of a bitch could pick you up and break you in half before you could get your knife in him twice. And as far as demons....religion is your only protection there. Your only protection and your only weapon in that situation is your faith. |

Unles you don't believe which means demons can't affect you. A vampire needs a heart to live, Jason wouldn't be able to catch someone that's behind him. A werewolf is the same. No matter what everything needs a heart to live. Or a head for that matter. Remove those and it's either dead or inanimate. @CockneyBird3 |

That's how demons affect most easily...when you don't believe. A vampire is a dead body that steals blood from others to live, it's already dead. You have to severe their heart and( depending on their strength) cut off their head. You have to use a wooden stake. Perhaps Jason couldn't, but a werewolf could. A werewolf has all the senses of a live wolf, enhanced. Which means with its keen sense of sound and smell you would never be able to sneak up on it. There are specific ways you have to do certain shit. Your view on this would make you a dead guy in the first hour of a vampire or werewolf film for sure.... @KnifeFanatic |

Except that I'm very resourceful. Remember you can make stakes with a knife. Give me a blade and I'll survive. I'm not saying I wouldn't use any other weapon, but I'll survive with just a blade. Because I'm resourceful.@CockneyBird3 |

For a werewolf you'll still need to use silver bullets... Other than that...this resourcefulness would work. Except for the faith part....I hope you don't end up in a demonic situation....cause a knife or anything you could make with it won't help you... @KnifeFanatic |

But you can't be in a demonic situation if you don't believe in it. It's not even possible @CockneyBird3 |
