I'm looking for a good Historical Fiction story to read?

I'm sorry I haven't replied to you for so long for I have been to busy reading through EVERY story you have posted and I must say YOU WATTIES ARE TALENTED! Thank-you all for your input hope to see more stories!

Not only has he been bought by one of the cruellest plantation owners in the state, he befriends his master's son Henry. Axe has dreams. He wants to get his family back and live on a farm with lots of chickens. Henry wants to end slavery and see his parents happy again. It's not long before both boys find themselves trapped deeper in a world of facades, and lies where prejudice rules the hearts of the people, and skeletons hidden far from sight, make their way to haunt the living, giving Axe no choice but to run away. However, running away brings grim realities that not only test their friendship, but could change both Axe's and Henry's lives forever...

http://wattpad.com/tenforthedevil Ten for the Devil's title comes from a 1600's poem on Crows - so 10 crows means the devil is near. A dark story that starts out mild but becomes very dark. A young boy witnessed Seth kiling a young servant girl. The story goes through both their lives as love ones try to protect the boy (grown to manhood) and Seth continues to kill along the twisting of their lives.
