Ok hello people!! Hmm lets see...well I know that I have great potential when it comes to writing but sometimes people say I'm too descriptive in my writing and I thought that was a good thing especially if you're right fictional stories or any type of story for that matter...so could someone clear that up for me?

@AkiraTye too much description can drown a reader. Meaning, it can be overwhelming and become tiresome to read. Describe ONLY what is necessary. There's a such thing called "purple prose" which is flowery description. I suggest you look it up.

Hi. My story is called "The Girl In The White Dress" It also has romance in it.

this is what its about:

Violet is sick of her life, her dad died from a drug overdoose and she found out her mum is a drug addict. Violet decides to run away, she doesn't plan on coming back anytime soon. After being murdered, Riley awakes inhuman. To say he was normal would be a lie. What is he? Violet unexpectedly is kidnapped by apparent cannibals but why?

@Rocknhairstylist83 You have to force yourself to write through it. Put on a timer. Set it for 15 minutes. Write--you can keep writing "the the the the the" over and over again, but you have to keep going.

It's like flexing a muscle. You have to practice to get better. Hope that's helpful.
