I'm a highly experienced writer and tutor. I joined Wattpad to present my semi-autobiographical Anglo-Chinese coming of age story, Stargirl of the Edge. It is nominally in the fantasy genre, but at the end of the story, the conventional concept of fantasy is subverted. Stargirl of the Edge narrates my own real-life dramas, dreams and challenges from the dual point of view of the 17 year old girl and her mother who is in her forties.  It draws on real events and people from my life and is set in the area where I live, but it's a gripping, page-turning story full of ideas, passion and powerful imagery to do with art, science and mysticism.
