Chapter Sixteen

Rayne knocked on Liam's front door, and was greeted by a shocked looking Sally "Rayne, what are you doing here, shouldn't you be at school?"

Rayne smiled at Liam's mum "Yeah, but I thought I would come and spend some bonding time with Liam before tonight." 

Liam's mother smiled at her "What a great idea! Come on in, his in the kitchen. I was just finishing my baking and we were going to go into town and look at some outfits for him for tonight."

"Oh ok" Rayne said following Sally into the kitchen, Liam was sitting on a stool at the counted eating what looked to be a cup cake. "Hey!" Rayne said as she sat on the stool beside him.

Liam looked at her and grinned "You came"

'Of course I did," She said smiling.

"Well Liam I think I can handle most of the shopping on my own, so why don't you and Rayne spend some time alone today, so you can get to know one another better" Sally suggested.

Both Liam and Rayne smiled at each other. "That sounds like a great idea mum" Liam said.

"Great!" His mother cheered, "Well I better get a move on so I have enough time to get everything I need. I will see you later Rayne," Sally said before walking out of the kitchen.

"So" Liam said as he got off his stool and looked at Rayne "What did you want to do today?"

Rayne smiled at him "How about we go to my house?" She suggested.

"Er....is that such a good idea? We should be at school and what about the pack and your mate?" Liam asked

Rayne shrugged her shoulders "They are at school and my parents will understand."

Liam thought it over for a minute before nodding once "Ok your place it is" He leaned down and softly touched his lips to hers. "I am so happy that you said yes to being my mate" He said while his lips were still softly touching hers

Rayne smile "I'm happy that you wanted to be my mate"

Liam pulled his lips back from hers "Just let me grab my house keys and I will be ready to go, I take it we will be going in your car?" He called over his shoulder as he jogged out of the room.

"Yeah" Rayne replied.

A few seconds later Liam appeared at the doorway "All set"

Rayne got up off her stool and followed Liam out of the kitchen and down the hallway to the front door.

After making sure, he had locked the front door Liam then followed Rayne to her car. They both got in and Rayne drove them to the pack house.

As soon as they reached the pack house, dirt driveway Liam was looking out the window wide eyed. "This is all your packs land?" He asked

'Yep"

"Wow you have some much land to run around in" he looked over at Rayne "Can we go for a run?" He asked her.

Rayne smiled "Sure, I wanted to take you and show you the waterfall anyway"

"You have a waterfall?"

"Yeah, it's where we all go swimming"

"Oh man you are so lucky"

Shenlooked over and frowned at him. "Where do you and your family go running?' She asked

"We haven't found a place here to go running yet, the last place we lived we had to go onto Rouge land to do it, so we didn't get to do it much."

"Oh I'm sure my uncle wouldn't mind letting your family run on our land" She paused for a moment when she thought of something she needed to talk to Liam about. "Hey Liam, when we are mated will you be joining my pack or will I be joining your family's pride?"
