Alice's Adventures In Alphabetland

A moment like never,
beyond the crystal red maze that
covers your fears.

Down the rabbit hole it falls, leaving
every stone unturned
for it hurts to see you
giving up, but look, these
hollow tears are not my own.

I saw you yesterday
just climbing the grass walls like
knights of diamonds, or kings of clubs, you're
looking through the melting glass
making madd hatters madder than mad.

Now and then tomorrow, we'll fly
over the smiling moon that you
painted like red roses, but it's fake.

Queens of hearts once
raised the podium for our
stranded schemes, like today's
trials of card soldiers
under the golden afternoon themes.

Valiant and pretty, this is my
wonderland, but there exists the
xenophiles of upside dreams, where
you will never find a thought that
zigs and zags the way we need.
