Fireworks

A/N: Hey everyone! This is another one of my failed attempts at writing a poem. It's not very good, but anyways, I'd really appreciate it if you read it and tell me what you thought of it. And any suggestions on how I can improve are more than welcome :) Thanks for reading :D

Night creeps up

Dark enfolds around

The moon shines

The stars shimmer

It's all quiet

Not a sound in the air

Everyone and everything is waiting

Waiting for the colours

Suddenly, a bang

And colours shoot up

Sound fills the air

Mingled in with the explosions

Red, blue, green

Purple, white, orange

Colours of the rainbow

Shoot all across the sky

Shooting across the shining moon

Shooting across the shimmering stars

The world comes alive

As the fireworks fill the skies.
