Chapter 20- A Trip To The Store

"Right, that's it." We sat on his bed just staring at the wall. I looked over at him and apparently he had been staring at me because when I looked at him he looked away quickly. I stared at him, "What?" I asked him. He looked at me and smirked, "I wanna kiss you really bad."

I looked at him and hesitated, I still didn't trust him. "It's alright I can understand why you wouldn't wanna kiss me." He scratched the back of his neck looking uncomfortable now, "We should go back to the party." He said to me. I nodded and stood up walking to his door. He stood up and walked towards me now opening the door. I smiled at him and walked out and he walked behind. We went downstairs and I looked around trying to find Aiden or Ally.

I saw Ally and she was drinking beer while some guys were trying to grind on her but she kept pushing them away. One guy tried to kiss her and was saying some rude things. I couldn't quite hear them though because the music was so loud. I was watching her struggle to get him away from her but he just kept kissing her so she pushed him and spit in his face. The guys face went from being surprised to mad. I didn't know what the guy was about to do but I walked up to them before he could do it.

"What the hell was that for!?" Asked the guy. I knew him he was in chemistry with me I think his name is Steven. He's really annoying, rude, inappropriate, I could go on and on but I won't. "What do you mean what was that for? You were trying to take advantage of her and she was smart enough not to let you. Now go away." I told him. He stared at me for a while and then he chuckled. "Your that girl, the one that's getting married. What? Now that you have Aiden you think you can get away with anything? Well you know what I can take him on anytime." He told me smirking. I rolled my eyes about to speak but then I got interrupted.

"Is that right now Steven?" Someone said from behind me. I knew that voice it was all to familiar and I hated that. Steven's smirk turned into a frown and I heard him gulp. I smiled at the fact that he was scared right now. Steven looked up at Aiden and stared at him for what seemed forever, Aiden broke the silence.

"What are you doing messing with my girl?" Aiden asked Steven. Oh my gosh he called me his girl. It made me smile but it went away quickly because I knew it was only because he was drunk and I couldn't possibly be falling for Aiden. It just can't happen.

Steven looked at me and then back at Aiden, "I wasn't messing with her. I was trying to get her friend." He told Aiden. Aiden looked at Ally, "Don't mess with either of them." Aiden said looking back at Steven. Steven looked at Aiden with a disappointed face, "What happened to you man? Since when have you been so protective over this geek and her stupid friend? What happened to the cool guy who used to make fun of this girl all the time and make her life a living hell? You beat up Ethan because he used her, you've never chosen a girl before your teammates, and when you do you choose a nerd over a hot chick" Steven said. Aiden stood there thinking for a bit then said, "look just back off of them." Steven shook his head and walked off.

I looked at Aiden and he was staring ahead with a blank face. "Thanks" I told him. He looked at me and smiled but it looked forced. I wonder what was up with him. "Uh, I'll see you at home." He said squeezing my shoulder and then walking off.

Ally looked at me and giggled, "He's so hot." I rolled my eyes and took her hand and started walking, then someone stopped me by the hand, I looked back and saw Dakota, "Where you going?" He asked me. "I think it's time for me and Ally to go." I said to him. It looked like he was hesitating before he let go of my hand and nodded. "See you later." He said to me looking a bit upset. I smiled at him, "I had a good time....thanks." I said to him and then walked off.

"Who was that guy you were making out with? I know he's a football player but do you know him?" I asked Ally trying to get past all the people around us. Ally tripped over someone's foot and giggled, "Ed Fergenson." She answered. My mouth fell open, "Ed has a girlfriend!" I said to her till trying to get to her car. "She doesn't have to know. He asked politely and so I let him make out with me." She said giggling.

We finally reached her car and we got in. I grabbed Ally's car keys from her pocket and put them in the ignition. I sighed, "I hate driving but I have to." I said to myself and then started driving home. It was horrible on the way home Ally was laughing about everything the whole time and she kept asking what the meaning of life was. She would get upset when I told her I didn't know and would start whining. It was the worst, Im never letting her get drunk again.

We finally got home and I practically had to drag Ally into the house she tripped over her feet and fell on the floor and then she couldn't stop laughing. I finally managed to get her into the house andonto the couch.

"Let's do something!" Ally said. I yawned and stretched my arms out then I looked at her, "What do you wanna do?" I asked her. She opened her mouth to answer but then she was interrupted by someone opening the door and yelling. "HONEY I'M HOME!" We looked over at the door and saw Ethan. I smiled and ran up to him hugging him by his neck, "Finally! Where have you been?" I asked him. I noticed his arms around my waist and how our bodies were touching so I got a bit nervous. "At a party getting drunk." He said to me.

Aiden walked past, "Hands off." He told Ethan and then sat on the couch next to Ally. Ethan let go of me and put his hands up in defence, "Sorry man." He told Aiden. So thats how he got in, Aiden unlocked the door for him but then I got confused. "Wait weren't you two fighting and now you're friends again?" I said confused. "Yea well that's how it works in guys world." Aiden said to me. I nodded.

"Like I was saying before I was rudely interrupted. Let's play a game. Do you guys have any cake mix or frosting?" Ally asked. Aiden and I shook our heads no at the same time. "Well can we go to the store and go buy some so we can play the game." I sighed, "Ally do you know what time it is? It's 12 in the morning I don't think the people at the store are gonna appreciate us going to the store tha la-" I got cut off. "No wait, how do you play?" Ethan asked.

"We get in teams but obviously we don't have enough people for that so instead me and Ally are gonna bake a cake and you and Aiden are gonna taste our cake and vote which one you like better." Ally said to us. "Wait so I bake one cake and you bake another one and they taste both of our cakes?" I asked her. She smiled and nodded.

I looked at the guys, "I'm fine with two girls making me two cakes and me eating them." Ethan said and looked at Aiden. "Yea me too." Aiden said. Ally smiled, "Hooray! C'mon to the store we go!" Ally grabbed my hand and ran to the car. We got in and then we saw the guys running up to the cat and getting in. "What are y'all doing?" Ally asked them. "We decided to go in case some guys decided to fuck with you or something." Ethan said. "I call Aiden! He seem's stronger." Ally yelled out. Rolling my eyes I drove off to the store.

We arrived at the store and only a few cars were there. We went inside and we went our separate ways. Ethan and I went over to the candy section while Ally and Aiden went over to the cake mix. "I know what kind of cake I'm gonna make." I said to Ethan. "What kind?" He asked me. " A good kind." I said to him.

I reached up to grab some reese's peanut butter chips that was to high for my reach. I looked over at Ethan and he was staring at me with amusement, "Arn't you gonna help me?" I asked him. He chuckled and reached up grabbing the candy and handing them to me. "Thanks." I said. He smiled at me, "You're welcome."

"So how you been?" Ethan asked me. "Um fine thanks." I replied to him browsing the aisle trying to find what I was looking for. I finally found what I was looking for and reached to grab it and our hands met. I looked up at him and he looked at me. We stared at each other for a bit and I found him leaning in, I just stood there still staring at him. His lips met mine and then he pulled away and said, "I really do wanna give us another try."

THANK YOU FOR WAITING THOUGH IT MEANS A LOT HONESTLY IT DOES I REALLY DO APPRECIATE YOU GUYS FOR READING MY BOOK AND FANNING! TWICE IN THE SAME DAY I SAVED AND MY STORY GOT DELETED AND I CRIED FOR 3 SECONDS UGH BUT I FINALLY FINISHED IT SO I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!
