Chapter 34

Tuesday night...

Derrick's POV

I saw Angela turn the corner to come into the living room. In her pink shirt and pajama pants that didn't match.

I couldn't hold it in and I laughed when I saw her.

'What?' She asked, looking down at herself.

'Sorry, nothing...you look beautiful.' I said smiling.

'Screw you.' She said smiling at me.

'I would but, I can't, doesn't work that way.' I said jokingly but smirking at her.

She rolled her eyes and sat down beside me.

'It should be illegal for you to do laundry.' She said.

I laughed, 'You're going to wear your pink stuff to bed?' I asked.

'I'm sure as hell not going to wear it during the day or go outside wearing it, it's Pink.' She said, making sure to pronounce the Pink.

'That's sad.'

'Why is that sad?' she asked.

'Because it makes you look like a happy person.' I said laughing and she joined in.

'I'll keep the other one just to mess with people. Would that make you happy?' she asked me.

'Yeah, I should buy you another shirt with glitter all over it.' I said laughing.

'That would work too.' She said smiling.

'Amanda seemed happy that most of her clothes are now pink and purple.' I said.

'She is really happy. She wants to wear all pink one day. Oh...how on earth did you do purple?' she asked.

'I don't know. Just be happy it's pink and purple and that it didn't shrink.' I said.

She laughed, 'Yeah, you must love shopping now because before you hated it.'

'I still hate it, but when you girls moved in, I didn't mind shopping for the two of you. I like it. If it was for anyone else, then there'd be a problem.' I told her.

'So before we moved in, you didn't like it?' she asked.

'Nope, if it was up to me, it would be no more shopping.'

She smiled at me.
