Never has one ever
felt so much ‘under the clock’
‘tween blue skies and town's edge
space enough for windows facing tomorrow
whir us not…incessant tick-tock
cresting increase of angst waved
bright sky striation in cornflower clarity
fill oceans' depths ‘til deep~
yet deeper still I swim
to touch unimagined wonders
waiting within this expanse
although times curve seldom bends
to will of man…this woman
prefers slipping loose days knots
from bow-ties…letting them fall
open noose for freeing hours
caressed til minutes stopped
crystal dropped in celebration
life kissed prismatic perspective
Never has one ever
felt, so much ‘under the clock’…
