I smiled as we stood in front of my door. I looked up at Langston grinning. He smiled back before he rested his hand on my waist and pulled me closer.
“You wanna come inside real quick?” I offered. He bit his lips and nodded. I pulled out my keys and opened the door before stepping in. Langston followed me in and I closed the door switching the lights on revealing my living room. I set my keys down on the table and grabbed Langston’s hand as we both rushed upstairs to my room, which was clean...thankfully. My little brother was with my grandmother for the week and my mom was at work. She was at work right now. I closed my bedroom door before running and throwing myself on my bed, only to bounce off and hit the ground with a thump.
“Damnnn,” Langston said in between laughs.
“Owww.” I groaned as I flipped around onto my stomach sighing loudly. Before I could even register I was being lifted off the ground. I looked up to see Langston grinning down at me, but his eyes showed worry and concern.
“Are you okay?” He asked seriously. I nodded and pouted slightly as he set me down on my bed. I sat there and he sat beside me. He snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me closed. I winced slightly, my side still hurting from the fall. He loosened his grip as if he was gonna pull back.
“I’m fine, I’m fine.” I whispered pulling myself closer to him. He raised an eyebrow at me. I giggled and nodded reasurring him. That’s when my eyes landed on the clock I had seated on my dresser.
“Langston it’s 11:56! The concert was fun, thank you inviting me but you gotta get home! You’ll feel awful in the morning.” I spoke. He pouted then slowly leaned down pressing his lips to mine. I kissed back, ready to pull back shortly only to have him deepen the kiss. This kiss slowly turned into a make out that went on for I don’t know how long. My arms were wrapped around his neck and he had on hand on the nape of my neck, his thumb near my ear and his fingers resting on the back of my neck. His other arm was snaked around my waist, pressing me close to him. His tongue skimmed my bottom lip but I refused to let him in.
“Come on now,” He mumbled against me lips. He asked for entrance again and this I let him. His tongue explored my mouth as his grip on me tighten, but not to the point where it was uncomfortable.
I pulled back a bit, our lips hovering over each others.
“Langston,” I said breathing a bit heavily, “It’s getting late, you gotta go.” I said. He eyed my lips nodding. I knew what I said had on in one ear and out the other.
“Yeah...” He murmured before blinking and widening his eyes, “I’ll see you at school right?” He removed his arms from around me and grinned.
“Yeah, I’ll see you.” I spoke before smiling at me. I looked at the time. 12:25. How long were we kissing for? I chuckled to myself. We stood up from my bed and headed downstairs.
“Good night.” I said pecking him on the lips once. He smirked and said Good night before hopping into his car and pulling off.
I leaned against the lockers, talking to Ray and Charles about basketball and such when I heard a familiar voice that got my heart racing like always.
“Langston!” Sonia called causing all of us to turn our heads. I couldn’t help but smile as she approached. I glanced over and Ray and Charles. Anger soon boiled up in me. I’m not really liking the way the guys were looking at her. I rolled my eyes but quickly forgot about them as Sonia hugged me. I hugged her back before kissing her quickly.
“Hey Ray, Hey Charles.” She says swiftly greeting them before her beautiful brown eyes laid on me. It seemed like they brighten a bit.
“Guess what?” She questioned taking a hold of my hand.
“What?” I asked biting my lips.
“That horror movie is coming out today. The one with the chick from Hunger Games! We should go see it!” She chimed. I beamed at her and she beamed back. I didn’t notice I was just staring at her.
I’m falling for her. I’m seriously falling for this girl. I gotta make this official.
“Langston?” She asked waving her hand in my face.
“Oh,” I said a bit dazed, “Uhh...Sonia you...you uhhh.” I stammered for a bit before she giggled.
