Allison’s POV

It’s been a few days since I’ve locked myself in my room refusing to talk to Niall. It’s not that he did anything wrong. He didn’t know that dad was going to refuse me. All he was doing was trying to make us a family. He had only good intentions.

The only reason I’m avoiding him is because I’m too embarrassed to face him. He’s probably still shocked at what happened and in a sad sympathetic mode.

I feel like I shouldn’t be wasting my time right now, especially because I’m leaving in a little less than two weeks. I should be spending more time with Niall and the boys and not be hiding out in my room.

I was lying down on my bed, scrolling through my twitter- which was growing with hate, but I just shrugged it off. What can I do? I mean, I am supposedly dating their ‘man’ but still; they don’t need to tell me to kill myself. I chose to ignore it and try to see some of my mentions that were from my friends. Also, my followers have grown by a lot. Weirdly, I have over 200k. Too bad for the fans that I don’t tweet much.

Anyways, while I was scrolling through my mentions I got interrupted by Zayn, just walking through the door. Could he not at least knock?

“Can I help you?” I grumbled as I locked my phone.

“Mhm, get dressed, I’m taking you out. And no- before you ask me, you don’t have a choice. You’ve been a couch potato for too long.”

Rolling my eyes, I peeled myself off my bed. “Fine, I’ll be out in a few.”

He nodded and stepped out of the room leaving me to change.

Knowing Zayn, he was probably just going to take me out on a walk, so I decided to change into a pair of skinny jeans and threw on my brown leather jacket over my white V-neck. I slipped on my shoes and was finally ready to walk in the cold London weather.

I took a deep breath before walking out of my room; hoping not to face Niall yet. I made it to the living room and luckily no one was there except Zayn.

“You were quicker than I thought you’d be.” He laughed as he got off the couch. I didn’t crack a smile at his attempt to joke.

He walked up to me and grabbed my hand. He pressed his lips against mine for a quick moment, before pulling me out the door.

Soon enough we were walking hand-in-hand down the sidewalk.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked.

“No where particular.”

“Oh.”

“We need to talk.” He said sternly, squeezing my hand reassuringly.

“I don’t want to talk though.”

“Well you don’t have a choice. Now why are you avoiding Niall? It’s killing him.”

I don’t know why Zayn had to say it was killing him. It only makes me feel worse. Although I know what he said was true, he still didn’t need to word it like that. He could have said something like ‘he wants to talk to you’ or ‘he misses you’ not referring me to hurting him.

I didn’t answer him. I pursed my lips to the side as I continued to think about what he said.

“You do know he didn’t want to hurt you, he only wanted to make things better.”

“I know that.”

“So why are you avoiding him?”

“Because...”
