Elements of the Heart

Fire drives out fire,

In heart not the same,

Heat and heat of rage,

Will just double the flame.

That shall scorch the world,

Our hearts one by one,

Burning fields, hell on Earth,

Hotter than desert sun.

Earth where thy heart stand,

Does it quiver and shake?

Trembling insecurely,

To facts, refused to take.

Ah yes. More land is what you need,

Go conquer other lands,

Don't care if hearts bleed.

They'll have less place to stand,

But 'tis a justified deed,

For more property to pride for,

Root in envious seeds

In the hearts of many,

And corrupt the crop,

That bear fruits of goodness,

Death to them! Drop!

Air that flies around,

In and out of lungs,

Out our mouths with vile sounds,

Message coughed from our tongues.

In the journey they reek and smoke,

Into others' ears they choke,

Not past them, but through all,

The idle wind, not so idle, after all.

Pride ignites envy,

Envy ignites greed,

Greed ignites glutton,

Lust and all men's need.

Wrath and sloth, stirred to start.

But these mean nothing,

To men with God in heart.

For pure water in their hearts flow,

Which cleanses and new baptize,

Forgive the sin and let hearts glow,

To love and symphatize,

For every sin triggers another,

But every love, calls to love from the Father.
