Welcome to The Sparks Academy. An all girls private school in New York City.  Where the mean girls rule, the gossiper's are royalty, everyone's a rich snob, and no one cares if you're 'homesick.' And in all of this chaos, a new girl shines as bright as a queen.

Megan Schroon-The girl who has everything. The perfect quarterback boyfriend, the best of friends and parents who will give her the world. Literally. She's the queen of the school and everyone obeys her every word. But, the new girl, Adrienne Garza is threatening to take that all away from her. With Adrienne's knowledge about the fact that Megan's 'parents' are actually her Uncle and his wife. How does she know about that? And how does the new girl know her deep secret when even megan's closets friends don't know this?

Penelope Hawkstone-She can steal your favourite diamond Braclet faster than you can say 'where did it go?'. She's the second in command at sparks and trusted by everyone with her beautiful face and angel like smile. But what happens when, Adrienne somehow finds out about her constant new clothes everyday? If anyone finds out about her secret, she might as well go and live in a hole for the rest of her life. 

Kirsten Colbree-She' s in love and happy. She's leaving Sparks to go to Rosedale, a public school all the way in Toronto. But her friends don't know that it's a public school. Or the fact that she's now poor and the NYC life style is too expensive for her and her dad now. She doesn't know Adrienne and hopefully, never will and her awful, shameful secret will be far away from embaressment as possible. And she with it. 

Holly Jenson-She's the happiest of these five best friends with her red hair and pretty freckled face, everyone wants to be around her. But only during the day for at night, she goes out to strip clubs and dances for the guys. Did I mention that they are twice her age if not more? 

Peyton Wilmore-She has an IQ level of a seven year-old. So then, how does she know exactly where to put a needle full of poison in a human body so that they feel no pain? Or the best things to help with awful addictions? She's dumb yet, shockingly smart. 

Adrienne Garza-She got a scholarship to go to Sparks and left her huge family behind. She's smart and witty, and makes herself known. And now, with all of her knowledge on the queens of Sparks, she'll be known forever. But how does she know about these secrets? Or better yet, will she tell the whole school about them?
