I woke up to tiny hands on me.

"Wake up your momma." I heard Mikko's voice in the background.

I opened my eyes to see the triplets crawling towards my face. I waited until they were all in range, then I grabbed them all up into a big hug.

I gave them all kisses and let them go when they started squirming.

It wasn't until they were all trying to get away from me when I looked at Mikko. He was dressed nicely. He had on dark jeans that clung nicely to him and a dark plaid button up that clung to him just as well as his jeans. "What's the special occasion?"

It wasn't often that Mikko dressed up for anything.

"We're going to dinner."

The idea of taking the kids somewhere wasn't how I really wanted to spend the evening.

"Do we have to?" I groaned and pulled Ben by his leg towards me. He squealed and squirmed, trying to kick out of my grasp. It was pretty dang adorable.

Mikko nodded. "Yes. You have to go to dinner with me."

I froze for a second as it all clicked. Mikko was taking me out to dinner?

"You and me?" I asked dumbly.

He smirked as he nodded. "Yes. We are going to dinner together. Just the two of us."

"What'd you do?" I asked suspiciously.

He held his hands up in the air innocently. "I didn't do anything."

"Then what?" This wasn't like him.

"I'm just taking the mother of my many children out to get some dinner." He put his hands down.

"Like a date."

"You have to ask me on a date if you're planning on taking me on one."

He pursed his lips, in a thinking gesture I had never noticed before. "I can see that."

He came around to the side of the bed, where i was still laying down, and sat so closed that our thighs were touching. I knew that even though it didn't appear that way, that he was keeping an eye on the triplets.

He leaned over and put his arm on the other side of me, bracing himself as he leaned over me.

"That's not fair," I stated.

I could feel the tingling that came from the bond.

He smiled. "I'm just using my advantage."

"Unfair," I complained again.

He shook his head. "I can make it unfair." I stayed still, not wanting to make the situation worse. He leaned over me. "Come to dinner with me."

"Why should I go to dinner with you?" I asked in compete seriousness. After everything that he had put me through, what he had put the babies through, I as having a hard time understanding why I should give him any chance.
