The Powder Puff Girls

Hi, this story was not written by me, it is a skit somebody wrote that we will be presenting on our variety show soon. It is a parody of the Power Puff Girls. Enjoy. :)

Intro

Narrator enters and stands downstage right. A table is set up downstage center with a giant pot, a ladle, and various bottles of chemicals surrounding it. Professor Utonium enters.

Narrator: Sugar, spice, and everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girls. But Professor Utonium accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction. Chemical X. (Professor cowers from the explosion. The Powder Puff Girls enter and stand in front of the table.) Thus, the Powder Puff Girls were born! Using their ultra super powers, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup have dedicated their lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil!

The Powder Puff Girls play their theme song on kazoos.

Scene 1

Narrator stands downstage right. The Powder Puff Girls and Professor Utonium enter to sit on a couch downstage center. On the stage left side of the couch is an end table with a TV remote on it. The girls and Professor pretend to watch TV, which is out towards the audience.

Narrator: The city of Townsville! On this quiet evening, the Powder Puff Girls sit watching TV with Professor Utonium. Nothing is amiss, and absolutely nothing is going wrong.

The Professor and girls laugh at their show.

Professor: Alright girls, it’s 7 o’clock. Time for bed.

Bubbles: Can’t we just watch one more, Professor? Please?

Professor: Bubbles, you have school tomorrow. No whining. Bed, now.

All exit except for Narrator. The TV remote is left on the end table.

Narrator: Nighty-night girls. It looks like another peaceful sleep. But what’s this? (Mojo Jojo enters sneakily.) Oh no! It’s Mojo Jojo! (Mojo Jojo picks up the remote, examines it, and then laughs, holding it up.)

Mojo: This will make an excellent mind control device. I need a mind control device to control the minds of people and animals, which will be controlled by me with this TV remote, which I will turn into a mind control device, because I, Mojo Jojo, am all powerful! Once I control the minds of the Powder Puff Girls, I can control all of Townsville, and then… the world! I must take this back to my super secret evil lair! Mwah ha ha! (Mojo exits.)

Narrator: Mojo Jojo has stolen the Powder Puff Girls’ TV remote! How will they save the day now?

Scene 2

Narrator stands at his place downstage stage right. The mayor sits at his desk downstage center, drinking coffee noisily and humming. Ms. Sara Bellum enters with some papers up to her face, reading.

Narrator: The mayor of Townsville sits at his desk doing… nothing.

Ms. Bellum: Mayor, sir. You’ve received a fax from the mayor of Town City.

Mayor: Well what does it say, Ms. Bellum?

Ms. Bellum: It says, Dear Mayor of Townsville, this is the mayor of Town City. I would like to meet with you and discuss mayor-like issues at the Townsville Park. Please wait for me by the giant tower that is not Mojo Jojo’s evil lair. This is in no way an evil scheme of Mojo Jojo’s either. Signed, Mayor of Town City. Mayor do you think this is an evil scheme of Mojo Jojo’s?

Mayor: Absolutely not, Ms. Bellum. It says so right in the fax. I’ll go there straight away!

Mayor exits and Ms. Bellum follows.

Narrator: Uh oh, looks like something fishy is going on here.

Scene 3

A bed is downstage right, and a table with the Powder Puff Girls’ emergency telephone and a hairbrush on it is downstage left. The Powder Puff Girls enter and get into bed. They pretend to wake up, as if it is early morning.

Narrator: After a well-rested sleep, the Powder Puff Girls wake for another day at Pokey Oaks kindergarten.
